The volume. Yom, what's up?

Y'all?

Welcome in What Up? What Up? What Up? Welcome in a brand new episode of Snaps, coming at you live. Snaps Live here on Monday, March fourth, twenty twenty four. It's my mom's birthday, So happy birthday, Mom. I know you generally don't listen to the show because I cursed too much and I expose a bit too much of my degeneracy. But you know, that's what I've got. You know, we said, I mean, I don't know. I don't know if we do. We said, easy to remember birthday, March fourth. It's a date. It's also command I always thought that was interesting. Excellent mnemonic device or mnemomic device. Huh oh, it's a little comedic freestyle. I started the show today. I hope you're all having a great day. If you're wondering, well, where's QB one? Very happy from a guy Aaron Murray as he is currently on his way to Disney World. That's right. The Klan packed up. They're in the car. They're heading down to Orlando. I could not be happier for them. I can't wait to live vicariously through them. I already talked him on the phone earlier day. Games of great last minute tips of tricks. I have a Google doc in which I'm putting in some suggestions. But but a little douchey, maybe a little cringey. But lest you think that I'm one thing I loathe or the the you have to do this crowd, No, no, no, no, I'm not saying that. I'm just saying this is some cool shit that I enjoyed, and if you're going, you know, maybe some stuff that you might want to check out. What's up? Co talking up? String Jing Lock, Hesse, Miles, Shirley, Greg, everybody else. I hit the share button, hit the like button. Fourteen point seven. K okay, let's get to fourteen point eight. Guys, however we can well, how you can do that is by hitting like and share it. Whatever. Have you watched Showgun yet? I've not watched Showgun yet. All my free time is still going to World of Warcraft right now, I'm trying to grind my character to forty and now that I'm older, it's just taken a little longer. But I gotta say, boys, the loot is hitting PG saying Showgun and Dune two is huge week for boy media. I agree, although I think dude due Brett, no, and maybe I'm I mean I think and boy meet you mean like boys, right. I feel like Dune two's got a lot of cross section cross cross gender appeal, but maybe ultimately mail at the end of the day, I know Dune two's the sci fi of every time. We'll get at that. I did see Dune two and it was fucking awesome. Okay, So on today's show, we're talking about Combine. We got some winners and losers, Reggie Bush saying he's boycotting future Heisman ceremonies. Excuse me, Johnny Manzel until the Heisman restores Reggie Bush's heisman. A quick update on the NCAA and there in il investigation against Tennessee as it looks like there's suspendion. Do not worry, Jef sol no Doune two spoilers here. I am going to give a purely qualitative assessment in general terms, and I mean, you know, I mean honestly just say, I mean, whatever, it's awesome, two thumbs up, Like I almost don't need to say more than that. It gets my full throated recommendation. But I do think that there is some more. Uh takes four there, Andy Ja says Tennessee owned. She yeah, I mean in a lot of ways, it is kind of how the NCAA Tennessee battle ended up and kind of what we thought we'll get into it. I think we'll get do some of the highlights of the combine over the weekend. Hope you all had a great weekend, my friends, and yeah, let's go ahead and dive in. So in case you missed it, Tam, I'll be back to one. Uh yeah, yeah, yeah, Yeah, I'm good. I don't think I've been feeling bad laterly though, I think yeah, I'm I gave a spoiler or no TV this morning, Razor for Dune two. I don't think so. I don't think so, right, did I? I guess it's possible. Well, I'll try my best not to. Yeah, I'm feeling fucking good. Thank you, Optimist climb good looking out hit the like but cherir okay. Johnny Minzel was on Club Shayshe noted Volume media member shout out Shannon Sharp the Goat, and he said that he is going to boycott future Heisman ceremonies until Reggie Bush gets his Heisa back from the NCAA. And first off, I didn't even go on to say, like, look, man, when you think about the heisman, like Reggie Bush is the heisman if you're my age, like I would agree, right, I'd agree with that. But let's explore this from the Reggie Bush angle once again, because I don't think I'm being hyperbolic. I really don't think I'm being hyperbolic when I say I'm not sure there is anything in the entirety of American sports as dumb as Reggie Bush not having his Heisman trophy. Okay, again, I say that knowing exactly what I'm saying, and I sat here and I thought about it before the show. Find me something dumber and more inconsistent with reality than Reggie Bush not having his Heisman trophy. It's like some of these baseball players who got caught taking steroids being held out of the Hall of Fame on steroids. You know what I'm saying. It's like that situation, but even worse and even dumber because it's even more singular. It's just flawed on so many accounts, and like, look, forget about how ridiculous Reggie Bush not having a heisman looks in light of the current marketplace. Okay, Like, forget about the fact that, again, it is completely had a hons with like everything we accept about our college athletes, whether or not you can pay them. Uh, forget about the fact that no one finds it morally offensive. You know. That's that's been one of the funny things about the great Awakening of the last few years is everybody kind of realized, like, uh, you know, I don't really give a fuck about these players getting paid, and somebody else like, oh wait, wait, fuck dude, I don't think I do either. Oh man, this whole time, I thought you cared, and so we just kept enforcing these rules. So like it looks crazy to forget about that it's not morally offensive. Like no one's upset the player's ma, So forget about that, or that Reggie Bush got a thousand bucks or had a house, Like, forget about that. How about this? And this is what infuriates me more than anything. It's the simple fact to accept Reggie Bush's Heisman punishment as just to accept that as a just ruling, you have to believe that every other high basement winner ever never received or took place in any impermissible benefits think about that, right, if Reggie Bush's ruling is going to be just, he has to be the only one that did such things. That is, so there is such a holier than down naivete there that it one boggles the mind and it too legitimately infuriates me. That's fucking dumb. Like even the man who's advocating on behalf of Reggie Bush openly admits to doing all the same shit. But because the NCAA Enforcement Committee didn't rule on him or did it come down his heart on him, like he gets to keep his heisman. Like that's the actual dumbest part about it. Again, So if somebody tries to hit you with like, oh, well, because I agree, Like, like, the rules were in place at the time, so technically you could argue it's irrelevance of whatever the marketplace is nowadays. And I'm like, sure, but the rules of place at the time, you're still telling me that what he's the only highs and winner that ever got a car, they ever got fucking money, So that that's absurd. The other thing, and this is where I get kind of like, I think, to me, that's me trying to make like, here's an objective convincing argument that is not you know, free of bias, but but I feel like most people would agree with what I just said if I want to get more into my own personal opinions. This story has brought up a couple thoughts in my head, and it's like, first off, who in the fuck are the people who devoted their lives to enforcing NCAA laws, Like like, like, what were you doing as an adult? Like that your entire existence is predicated on making sure that kids can't benefit off their talent Like I I that I never like, I don't understand that at all. And really those are the only people that would be upset by this because they're like, wait, what value do I have if I did like I did all of this for so long, I thought it was like doing the right thing I believed in the cause it's just it's it's crazy now it feels crazy, all right? But what should be done? Now? Should Reggie Bush get his heisman back? Razor said, Did the NCAA asked the Heisd Trust to pull his trophy? No? So what happened is the Heisd Trust has already said that he would be welcome back with open arms, right, But the reason why I got taken away is because the nc DOUBLEA made USC vacate fourteen wins include a national championship and all of Bush's statistics from that year, so he has no stats, he has no records, and the Heisman Trust has been saying that, well, that's why we can't give him the Heisman, right, So, and the NCAA would reinstate those numbers, then the Heisman would reinstate Bush and give him the award back. I mean, again, there's probably absurdity there that like, fuck it, you're the heigs of trust. Just let him back in the anyway, right, But again I don't know the legality of such a move or if there's some roadblocks there that I'm missing. I mean, every Heisman winner once I'm in there, like, you're not gonna find a single highs and winner, maybe even the oldest of old school who would say no. Uh. But that's the thing about this too, and that's that's where we really got it. I Mean, the NCAA has really got to look in the mirror and say, bruh, what are we doing? You know, what are we doing? Because this is such an easy win you you could not use an ai program to generate an easier win for the n C Doualea than giving Bush his heisman back. There's no other cases that you're gonna have to go back and look at it, think about giving their heisman back. There's nobody's gonna be upset about it. And if if people are mad, it'll be a couple loan. Remember, cancel culture and things like that don't actually exist. Excuse me, I shouldn't say that's gonna be whoa, that's gonna be misconstrued. However, like whenever a corporation or an organization decides on if they did the right or wrong thing based off of public opinion, it just becomes a social democracy. All I'm saying is, sure you give them the heuis and back. Maybe there's a couple descending voices who are upset, but they will be so far overwhelmed or lacks so much support that it won't that it won't matter, you know. And so again it's such an easy win to get back the heisman, and I'll say, why you're at it, Give you a cea the fourteen wins back and give the Natty back. Now I could see that maybe you could argue that's more problematic because you open the door for like other wins to be restored vacated wins, even though I think we all agree that vacated wins is a really stupid penalty exists. But no, I mean, I mean, I look, I personally, I agree that cancel culture doesn't exist in that it's just a social democracy, right, And if you're going looking for hard and fast rules in which uh we're going to operate within, then you're gonna be disappointed because there are no hard and fast rules. It's just how people feel in every individual subject. And are enough people mad about it or not right? But again, in saying that, I don't want some people to like take that all all whatever, you go. What I'm saying, I just explained it. So it's an easy win. I think you should get back. But then again, the last time the NBA talked about this, here's what they said back in twenty twenty one. Quote. Although college athletes can now receive benefits from their names, image, and likenesses through activities like endorsements and appearances, NCAA rules still do not permit pay for play type arrangements. The NCAA infractions process exists to promote fairness in college sports. The rules that governed fair player voted on, agreed to, and expect to be upheld by all NCUBA member schools. Shut the fuck up? Are you stupid? Nc DOUBLEA, Shut the fuck up? Stop it, stop it. Okay, that's what No, Just give Bridgie the eyes back and everything's good to go, and nobody cares and you get an easy win. How did you pass your corporate drug test with the fake dong I bought? I think it was like from a store, but I think it was maybe rabbit urine, I don't know, and warmed it up with a hand warmer. Also, even in that statement, it actually opened the door for a Reggie Bush suit lawsuit because technically Reggie Bush was never found guilty of pay for play, it was receiving impermissible benefits, none of which are ever tied to USC or anything like that, So it can't help itself. Just too many people to give way, too much fuck about roles that nobody else really cares about. Okay. I hate to go from one n CBA story to another, but we're just gonna touch in this real quick and then we'll get into the combine. The NCAA is pausing all in IL investigations in the wake of the Tennessee Tennessee court battle. And again, I think this comes as basically no surprise. Right. Here's what an article in ESPN had to say. Quote in a letter to member school's Friday in CNAA President Charlie Baker said, the Division one board of Directors excuse me. In a letter to member school's Friday and CNAA President Charlie Baker said, the Division one Board of Directors directed enforcement staff to quote pause and not begin investigations involving third party participation and INIL related activities. Close both quotes. So basically, the NCAA waving the white flag when it comes to going after collectives and pay for play, because again, what we said is that we realized now this has been a flatly illegal model for one hundred years, and any friction that you're now feeling is because we operated accepting that a flatly illegal model was the correct way to do things. Now we know that's not the case, and they can't win in court. You know, it all goes back to that Kavanaugh letter. What's still wild to me, And this is where Charlie Baker disappoints me. Charlie Baker had an opportunity to take over an organization that was at a existential crossroads when he became, when he took over from Mark Emmert, who had seen the riding on the wall, who had seen the enormity of what he was up against, and chose to do nothing, which is actually a more viable strategy than maybe would have thought, because had he chose to battle, he would have lost. Right, and he's so old, he's like fucking him out anyway, I get why he did nothing. Right, So Charlie Baker takes over. He had the chance to be transformational, you know, and instead he chased the dragon of the past. He chased the dragon of amateurism, which clearly the Supreme Court does not agree should exist in college athletics, and the general public does not agree should exist in general in college athletics. And when you look at Charlie Baker he takes over, what's the first thing he does. He spends all the time because he used to be a congressman, right in federal Congress, and so he spends all that time. I'm going to use all my connections and we're going to get a federal bill passed on on on nil in the n CUAA, we're going to brain this thing in that Act of Congress. Federal it ain't coming, And it's not hard to see why. Look at your local legislature, look at your state legislature. If you're in the Southeast and you're listening to this, I'm not as familiar maybe with some of the other states, but certainly there are many out there where it has been proven that there is nothing more bipartisan than allowing schools to pay athletes and making it easier to pay athletes. It is the only thing that brings the right and the left together at a state legislature level is how can we set our schools up to be ahead of the schools next to us? Right, it's why Maszoo can pay high school athletes. You know, they can start getting ANIL deals once they commit to Miszoo. It's why Tennessee Inspire Entertainment can get in the agreements that they did. Like, so ask yourself, then, if I'm a state representative, why would I go directly against what has proven to be so popular on a local level. You're never going to so to tie this all up. This death by a thousand cuts narrative that's been swirling around the NCAAA just feels more real than ever. And again, Charlie Baker had a chance when he took over to be transformational and to completely scrap everything, and they say, no, we have to forge a path anew it's the only way that we survive. And instead and in choosing to retain and stick to this old path, this illegal path, I think he's kind of doomed him. Men, they just feel flailing. I mean in December, yeah, he proposed something called just think about Like, let me, have you never heard of this? Let me just pitch it to you and see how it hits you. Baker will posed something called Project D one. This is where three hundred and sixty three Division I schools would offer unlimited educational benefits. They the schools themselves would enter into nil licensing deals with the athletes. Somebody cut out kind of you know, the boosters and everything, and they would create a new tier of D one where schools would pay at least thirty K per year to at least half of their athletes. What why do we need you to do that? In Cuba when that's already going on. And I have no animus towards the NCAA. Dude, I don't dislike them, Like, I don't want this to sound like I'm being guy. That's just like ah, this old de credit organization. They help people down for too long. I don't think. I don't think the NCAA was like snidly whiplashing, like fuck, I don't want these players to get paid. I've ruined out politics. I think everybody generally it's it's weird. It was like we're under some sort of mass psychosis where everybody accepted that like, no, they're collegezzic, they shouldn't get paid, right, it's amateurism. And eventually, slowly but surely, we all kind of were like, well, is that is that right? And then the marketplace in the money has clearly spoken that no, it's it's it's not right. And so, unfortunately, think Charlie Baker, the n CUBA, this is just the latest and uh the end, the death by a thousand cuts continuing, which, as you can see by the way, now well I really said that, as you can see confidently, but now I don't actually know what I was going to say. Huh, funny that works my brain CT relaxed. Let's see here is IR relevance that's cut Yeah, uh, Peyton Lawler, I'm about to get well classic back soon. If you're trying to run my guy, bruh, I've been on that. Uh sod phase two if you ain't on season and dad, what you're doing? Broh? But you're lucky if you haven't started yet. March fifth, one hundred percent XP boost one to thirty nine and increased gold and so there's never been a time to pay uh to play catch up. Emil SA's Case of the Monday is your band of miill. That's a five minute suspension, dude. I hate to do it too, but you know these are the rules. Yeah, I know exactly. Mel says thirty k loll. I mean yeah, like litsen off guys, Project D one, we're going to negotiate the deals and therefore take cuts and thirty k for a half. I get the fuck out of here, dude, it's too late. It's too late. Uh any day. Why do you think Charlie Baker is going to be a GameChanger? Came from indefficient bureaucracy. Fair fair, I mean, look, I didn't know that. I think it was gonna be a game danger. All I'm saying is it felt like that was like that was the time you're changing presidents, massive sweeping seismic shifts going on under your feet. That was the time to fucking take a shot, and instead you kind of chose to continue to do nothing or continue to do the old thing, which is clearly not worked. Um Jeff's al says that somehow never got into a wound. Now it feels to our corep for noops, no wow's not well's not to our core for noops, wells a very new friendly. I think that's why it's actually the most successful MMO of all time, is that like everybody could play well right, Like my wife got level thirty back in the day. Like it's just once you once you get hooked, it's kind of like, oh, now there is the weird part where like you know, assholes like me have been playing it for like fifteen years now, so maybe it seems like a little like ah, I don't know, uh, like how does everybody know what to do? But people are really nice and once you get hooked, you can look up anything that you need to know online. I think it's awesome. All right, let's do this. All right, then combine go down last week, And you know, the combine is a valuable tool for figuring out who the most athletic people are, right some potential plays. I'm I'm, you know, like every other. I don't know that this is a unique opinion at all. Whatever. I'm someone who likes game tape and how you actually like played on the field better. But the combine definitely has value, and to be fair, sometimes guys tape sucks, right, but they are freak athletes and they go on to be incredible in the NFL. I remember Danil Hunter from LSU. I think he had like four sacks in his career maybe or like two or three at LSU and now in the NFL, Who's been one of the better sack artists for like what five six, seven years now at this point. So I'm also someone who I don't totolly throw out the combine, but you know, it's it's whatever. I just like seeing chuge athletes do bad as shit. So let's go into the winners loser. Let's start with the quarterbacks. First off, Caleb Williams. Here's what's interesting on Caleb Williams chooses to do nothing right, not even get his medicals examined, the first player in combined history to not even submit to medicals. And yet from everything I've read, the college football hive mind seems to say that Caleb Williams is a big winner. And it's just from talking to people, right, Like I've read multiple anecdotes where maybe a head coach at GM somebody in a leadership position was quoted as being like, you know, I was really too sure about Caleb, well too sure. I don't know outside looking in. I mean, the tape's great, but I don't know about the kid, and they talked like and now I really like him, and he's high on or more so so whatever. He's probably always going to be the number one pick. But I don't know if he just rolled like a really high charisma check for Indianapolis, but shout out to sheer force of personality because Caleb Williams did not throw, did not run, did not allow medicals, and uh still did he do measurements? I think he did. He did do measurements and and still people came out just really high on him. JJ McCarthy, Okay, JJ McCarthy's in a more bit of a mixed bag. I think that I think that JJ McCarthy had a good combine and was a winner in that. I think he potentially passed up bo Nix and Michael Pennix from what I've read. Now, obviously, the May Williams Daniels trio continues to exist at the top alone. We'll talk about Jaden in a second, and may as well. But I do think that JJ McCarthy, with how well he tested, he threw well, he had good measureables. He's young as hell, he has the Natty under his belt. Yes, there's a risk we talk about Chase Daniels because it's just not that much film. He did throw it sixty one miles an hour, right behind Joe Milton sixty two. Right, So like I think JJ, you know, helped himself as much as you can as a quarterback throwing on air at the combine. Speaking of Jaden Daniels, where's just coming to chat here? Often his climb. I'm convinced the Bear should select Daniels at this point. I think it's almost a no brainer. Insane to say that, like seven months ago. Yeah, yeah, I mean I agree. I think I think they should as well. But I do think that they're maybe leaning towards Caleb Williams. Eve though Daniels is interesting because I'm not sure that it's tough. It's tough to get a read on how this combine went for him. I saw a lot of it paining him as a negative because he chose not to get his measurements done, him and Malik Neighbors the only players not to have their measurements taken. I do think it's a bit interesting because I don't know why. I mean, nobody's ever really like why avoid just having your height and hand size and everything else measured. Some people say maybe it's a weight issue because if he's lighter than two of five, there's never been a good quarterback it's lighter two of five, and that's fair. But this would have kind of been the perfect time to do that, right, just like stuff yourself, get a little fat for a week or two, go way in and then get an incredible shape for your protein. Where're gonna run like a four to three and throw the ball all over the place. So a bit of interesting strategy there. I mean, for be completely honest, Jane Dalles had hurt himself. He didn't help himself. It was just a non week. Same thing for Drake May. In fact, I've heard nothing about Drake May lately. BJ Crew says, I don't know if Cale moves be a bust. But having the expectations to be Mahomes Part two was foolish from the start, especially just in order to play that similar at all well, I mean no, Look, I mean I do think they have similar styles. But we gotta understand when people mention Mahomes and Williams, it's not saying that he will be Mahomes. Mahomes is just the comp that's all. Disagree with the latter part of the statement BJ because it is the stylistic similarities. It's why Lamar and Jaden go together, It's why Drake May and Aaron Rodgers go together. They have physical similarities, they have play style similarities. So it's not to say that they will be those players. It's just that if they will find success, here is like an archetype that we can kind of view them in. Neils is better comfort Kalb but probably Steve Young Dude, I didn't watch the Young play at BYU really, so maybe let's see uh Cougar intruder Braiden Fist was a combine winner. Yeah, in case you missed Brad and Fist, mister double Nichols himself former I believe Western Michigan standout goes to Florida State, becomes All American. He was awesome. Interior defensive tackle gets a nine to nine to seven relative athletics score. Runs a four fastest time among all the tackles. It's like a four seven McKay winga right behind end. So good on mackay bet on himself leaving Ali. Shoot, that's a good showing from him. But h yeah, Bradon fist mister double Nichols because he's number fifty five. Sorry, I don't know why I started that, but anybody who is number fifty five I called mister double Nichols. Jeff's also is Brian Thomas Junior is forty time though. Yeah, Brian Thmas Junior one of the big combine winners. How about this? So he ran a four to three three forty He had a thirty eight and a half in incredible numbers. But how about this relative athletics score. This is a system that's been developed to try to quantify athleticism. I just told you about Bradon Fisk where incredible. What he did is uh well, it scored one to ten and Brian Thomas. From nineteen eighty seven to twenty twenty four, there have been three thousand and sixty three wide receivers at the NFL Combine, so near forty years sample size. Brian Thomas got a relative athletic score of nine to nine seven. That's tenth out of three thousand, sixty three receivers, tenth out of three k and he led the nation in touchdowns with seventeen of them. Things. He had nearly twelve hundred yards any sixty three and over two hundred pounds. I mean, Brian Thomas could not have helped himself more. He has solidify his status as a you know, ten to twenty ragne that mid first round pick a little higher or lower, give or take a few spots. So massive day, really for all of the receivers. We'll get into his Avery worthies forty and everything. And Ady Mitchell was freakish as well. I mean Adie Mitchell, dude, he's been another big guy. He no small receiver. He runs a four three five, He jumps thirty nine to five, a broad jump of eleven four. Are you shitting me? So? Adie Mitchell's a massive winner, A secret winner that's kind of insane. Was Joe Milton. Uh. And it's so funny because we just spent an entire off season talking about, Wow, Joe Milton so freakishly talented. Maybe like he'll bring Tennessee to this next level, and then we spent an entire football season be like Joe Milton, just not that guy. Dude, rocket arm, big as hell, but just not that guy. And now we arrive at a new offseason and you see Joe Milton going, wow, he's damn dude, he's six ' five. Oh dude, he's two thirty five. Oh wow, what he's got over ten inche hands? Oh man, what he were on? What in the forty? And then you watch this, watch this video by Joe Milton. Okay, because I agree, you're gonna tell me all I can't play football, you can't do this or that. Watch this video where Joe Milton launches a ball into the fucking sun seventy five yards in the air, walks it off, fades away, pointed at it, and all of a sudden, you're like, I don't know Joe Milton. So it's like when I initially saw the Joe Milton hype, I didn't fucking get it. I'm like, we just played this game. But then I saw that video, and now I get it again. Dude, that's I mean, that's that that throw. How could you not be amazed by that? And let me be clear about this Joe Milton is dangerous logic. Okay, it is the ultimate I can fix him situation. And as we know, if you go after the bad boys, you go after the bad girls thinking you can fix him, you're flawed. And that's bad logic ninety nine percent of the time. But but there is always that one percent, you know, the exception every rule, and that's where someone like Joe Milton becomes so tempting and temptalizing. You lust for that raw ability, but the question is can you back it up with the play that you need. So again, look, I know Chad saying chat saying like, no, you can't play Bay give boot Ball. I I get it, I get it, I get it. But you're telling me as an NFL coach, you don't think you can maybe find a role for that guy the wor over take some hill exists, maybe do something I don't know, I think. I mean it's tempting, that's all I'm saying. So big winner Joe Milton for being a physical freak, which you're all kind of new speaking of physical freaks. Xavier Worthy to how out it and and ud I mean really like I said, Adia Minchel and Worthy. The text receivers having a great day, but Xavier Worthy breaking the record for the Listen to that crowd pop when you ever see a crowd pop like that at the combine? As soon as that time? Look at how fast he is, dude, it's it's one of the few. So it's funny, man. I think. I think you talk to people who don't really give a damn about football and or what like somebody just doesn't care, you know, casually wats the game whatever, and they're like, Okay, why don't you just get someone super fast and have them run straight and just throw it to them right like nobody can cover just do that every time? And you're like, oh, well, you know that's it's actually kind of you know, you can't do that because there's safeties and the exists or that that motherfucker right there is so fast that I kind of get that now. I'm like, wait, second, why don't we just like fucking just throw a bomb to Zaver Worthy every single time? Like I hope that Worthy gets teamed up with one of the elite arm strength guys, be like an Anthony Richardson, uh, Josh Allen, Pat Mahomes, Like I cannot fathom trying to play deep enough to stop four to two one speed. Also, has anybody in Chad ever seen the Animatrix, the world record short Animatrix where the sprinter runs so fast that he breaks out of the matrix, uh, because I think for me it's the best representation of speed I've ever seen. And a four. By the way, he ran a four to Thomas Rris's four two fives in comperhensible. I agree he ran an electronically timed four two one right after running a four to two five. That incomprehensible is a good word. That's a great word in fact, to use for it. But yeah, the anime the world where that is That's how I felt watching Xavier Worthy run that right like I would not have been shocked at all if if, if a tear in the fabric of reality would have opened up behind him or even in front of him. And that's how he got there so fast. It's it's it's it's well yeah, yeah, yeah. Dysla says he's got the DVD, the Animatrix DVD. Fuck yes, dude, us. Although I don't have any idea, No, PG don't put their carr I don't know. No Derek Carr not not worthy of uh of Xavier? Oh No, I mean actually I would love the Saints draft like of Brian Thomas Jr. Yeah, all the Animatrix. Actually, if you like the Matrix, you've never seen the Animaterix. All these short stories are well worth it. They're just different animation styles telling a bunch of cool stories in the Matrix universe, which is awesome. Oh, I have no way to watch a DVD nowadays, dude. You know, every since I got that disclos Ps five, I've realized that technology being complete lately eliminated from my brain. Luck says it was far too high to remember what he saw the Animaterix. That's fair, you know. Okay a lot of people so, okay, a lot of people want me to talk about Ladd mccacky. To be honest, the only thing I heard about Ladd mccacky my guild leader is this guy for Dragon Shout Out and he's a he's ill Georgia Bullet from Guainesville, and he was telling me about old LADDI mcconkeye's times. I'm saying they were pretty fucking awesome. What he ran like a four to three something, right? Yeah? Four three four h yeah, four three four forty, which is awesome, you know, and you're talk about Lad McCay. You're talking about somebody that you already knew was awesome. And maybe the only question was as a white guy, was gonna be too slow? And that's obviously not too slow. That's more than fast enough. So Lad mccacky four three nine. There we go, big winner as well. Emil cons Antonio Holmes is the only guy who really went crazy on the forty The combine have a long NFL career? Is that true? I don't think that's true, dude. I mean, Chris Johnson running back was awesome. I think I think, I think we can find plenty of examples. This Austins go buck Eyes hell yeah, even though I heard Bobby Hart Bobby Bobby Carpenter was talking shit about me on Friday on Serious XM for not going on with him and Jake. I love Bobby though all out. Oh and then our final combine winner, Cole Roster. You dis related to Jack Black, No, but he is an inspiration of mines. He's amused. In fact, I randomly saying karaoke last Monday, didn't know a friend in town. He wanted to go to a bar. I hadn't been there. At Pelig and Mars cool Spot Monday's karaoke Night, what did I sing? Kickapoo by Jack Black? I fucking love Tenacious D. Dude. Sometimes these things just happened. Maybe I've willed myself into looking like him as I've gotten older. The final Combine winner. Admittedly this a bit cringe and it's a bit overdone, Okay, so I want you all to know that I'm aware of this, But I also find this deeply satisfying to watch. Here is Sam Hartman running a forty and look at the flow state that his hair hits for the last half of this video. I find that deeply satisfying to watch. Hit It with Me again PG. People like ASMR videos and I get that as well. But the natural free particle filky, languid sort of liquid motion to his hair right there is ooh, I got goosebumps. I just I just I just find it again. I I It's like I can almost feel it in my molars. That's how satisfying I find a video like that to be. So chout out Sam Martmin's hair again. Though. I feel bad right because all these answering questions about the entire time is how good looking he is? Like, nobody's been objectified more than Sam Hartman has in twenty twenty four, and a lot of that's on me because I've been doing the objectification. Yeah. Look now, everybody in chats just saying that they let Sam Hartman fuck their wife. I agree. I mean I said it plenty right, Like, speaking of Dune, I want to fuck Timothy Shallome. I want Sam Hartman to fuck me. So I think we all get it. He says. Oh no, the hot NFL quarterback can't stop being asked that how hot he is. Come on, no, man, come on, dude, come on, that would get kind of annoyed. You know, you try to do football stuff. Everybody just want to talk about your hair to me, your beautiful jawline, you're resting good looks uh? Oscar Isaac creator timmythy Yeah, Oscar Isaac's like one of the most beautiful people on the planet, especially in Aldo Trade's form. When he's got that just like salt and pepper, thick beard and hair, he's unbelievable. Oscar ISI's better looking than Sam Hartman for sure. Okay, speaking of Dune, too. It's time for our spoiler free Dune two review again. If you're if you're enjoying the show, guys, hit the like button, share it. Thank you to everybody's hanging out here. Uh. Yeah, he is beautiful, guys. He is beautiful for sure, Jeff, So'll give him a fucking spirit shield. He's going to take that empire. Yeah, very Achilles and pat Patricolis. Very Achilles type feel for sure in that uh in that video? All right, Dune too, saw it on Friday. My favorite local theater, celebrity theaters. They have two theaters that are called PLF theaters. Okay, we're talking an Imax si stream with four K Barcoe laser projection and a Dolby at miss sound system that is the true Can't Crown jewel. Okay, one hundred and eight speakers in each theater. The reason why I'm being fetishistic about this is because I don't believe that there is a movie that emphasizes the theater experience as well as Doom two does. Right, every generation has these movies, these grand spectacle movies. You know. Certainly, I think like a terminator for me, like Lord of the Rings. When I was younger Avatar even you know, I guess it's two for Cameron there. Whatever. The point is, like, you know, the type of movies that I'm talking about from a design standpoint, the set design, the costume design, the art design and direction. The sound design is unlike those. The sound design alone is unlike anything I've ever seen. But the design in general A plus. Across the board, story A plus, acting A I mean, it's just it is the sci fi epic of our time. It was so good, so satisfying. Both me and my wife loved it. Two thumbs up. I said it this morning, a full throated recommendation to go see Dune two. The only thing I ask you is go the extra mile and try to see it in the highest quality theater that you can. You will not be disappointed, like you will be rewarded, and you'll be like, oh, okay, this is the magic of the movie theater. This is why I come here instead of watching it at home. This is what makes it worth it. Uh And And I say epic not in the early aughts internet sense. I say epic in the you know, the bend her, the bend her grand Hollywood sense. That's that's that's what done two feels like and and and I feel like a very you know, satisfy begin in. So I don't want to give any spoilers. That's all this say. Love love, love that movie. A lot of people are asking if I got the popcorn bucket. If you have no seen the popcorn bucket, it resembles that of a sandworm's mouth, and if you haven't seen a sandworm's mouth, it is not unlike that of a human anus, but a little scarier and sharper. This has led many people to fantasizing about fucking the dune Dune Gussie I think is what they're calling it, the dune and Gussy. I myself would be lying if I said I hadn't entertained such thoughts as well. So you can imagine my bitter disappointment when my favorite theater did not have the Dune Gussie. There was no commemorative popcorn bucket at my theater. I was disappointed, sure, but the movie was still great, as was the in theater experience. So no, Unfortunately, I am not a proud owner of a dune based flashlight. Instead, I cut a hole in the bottom of my popcorn and told my wife if she wanted to ride my sandworm. She could. That was how I coped Thomas arisis Perkins Row. No, I would not go to that theater for this movie. Sorry, let me look. No, No, that's sorry. I don't want to be elitist. They have an XD theater. It's nice. Okay, see it in the nicest one you want. If you're a ben rouzo again, I would say go to PLF at Celebrity Marky Parker three hour movie at the time, link equals epic. And you know what, the best thing I can say for the movie is that you never wanted to be over every now and then you get these feelings. I definitely had a dark night back in the day where you're just hoping, Oh, I can't end now, it can't end now. I gotta see what it can't in now. You never it never felt slow, and even though it is paced thoughtfully right and it's not a hyperactive movie in any sense as the first one was not in Denis Villeneuve's style is generally not. But it is fantastic optimist climb. Speaking of sand worms, got bield just two coming soon. As long as Keaton's on board, I'll see Beatle just too too. John Glasgow, what's the next big epic movie coming? That's tough to say, because I don't think anybody knew this was going to be that, because remember Dune one was released with a little bit of insecurity, and that's I think. Another thing you could see is that after the success of Doune one, you definitely got everything you wanted for Done two, whereas Dune one was more of like a proven situation. Remember, the sequel wasn't even green lit until they knew how successful the movie would go on to be. So it took a good you know, it took a really strong first movie to create the epic scale of the second, though I felt the first pretty epic as well, just not on the same level. And so I don't know, I don't know what. I don't know what the next epic would be. Actually, optimst climbs the new alien movie this year, and now see I don't think, yeah, that's not gonna be it though, uh yeah, and Ridley's doing Gladiator too. Yeah, I highly doubt Gladiator two is going to be it though. Ridley's fine now, but I don't know, maybe he hasn't lost what was that, you know, whatever, magic he had back in the day. Uh, Locke Cassie knew. Blade Runner was the first movie I saw Dolby Atmas and I literally said that changed movies from me afterwards. Again, who made Blade Runner twenty forty nine? Didn't he? Billano? Who? I hope He'm saying his name correctly, but that I mean he has to be up there now with Nolan Tarantino, whoever you want to call the best directors of our age, whatever our age is. I mean between arrival these carrios, all he does. All he does is make hits. I mean, all he does is make hits. Huh He's Canadian. I never knew that. Yeah, Blade Runer twenty four Oh and Prisoners forgetting me fucking prisoners, Dude, Prisoners is awesome. So shout out to Jeff's old part of the aggrets. I haven't read the book? Is this the last dude movie? No? I mean there's a ton of Dune books so and I'm not as well versed either. Read two in college, but I personally didn't reread them now because I enjoyed the first movie so much, I want to se where it's gonna go. But no, I mean you could, uh the first two movies make up the first book. The first book became two movies, and it's good for it. The the the, the commitment to a slower bild, to to fleshing out. He really justifies it and lands the plane Optimus as Nolan doesn't miss. Well again, I mean, look at look at our boy Deny he don't either, man. All right, huge, thank you. If anybody does want to play World of Warcraft with me, come check out the Lava Lash Server season of Discovery, come holla, uh Dan Peyton lalish his throne SU season this year gonna solid. Yeah, dude, I loved h House of Dragons. I'm really really hyped. Robbie Kingk says Austin Butler was scary. Good to do too. I agree, speaking of a beautiful man Austin Butler's lips. Oh she shies, dude, Markie Parker, I think more epics coming out now are mystery or crime thrillers. That's the problem. What would you consider an epic? I mean, like Napoleon wanted to be epic and I haven't watched yet. I don't want to comment too much on it, but I don't know if if if it was good enough to be considered that or maybe it's not a qualitative thing. That's a good question. He just keeps talking about uh Heat two, which somebody also told me about today, which I didn't realize is becoming a thing. All right, love you so much?
