n 2020, my friend Eric Borstein’s life changed dramatically when he collapsed at home from massive right heart failure and was diagnosed with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), a rare and life-threatening disease with no cure. He’s GRATEFUL to be alive and here to share his story as we gear up for his 3rd annual Where is EB? 5k fundraiser in Santa Monica Sunday Sept. 20th.On this podcast, hear Lisa Foxx talk with Eric all about his story and why this fundraiser is so important.

He spent sixteen days in the intensive care unit at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, fighting for his life. In the aftermath of his diagnosis, Eric turned to walking as a pathway to physical and emotional healing. What began as short strolls grew into a vital, empowering part of his life. Between 2022 and 2024, Eric walked over 14,500 miles, a testament to his resilience and his commitment to managing life with PAH.

Excited to announce the Third Annual Where is EB? will be on Sunday, September 20th for a meaningful morning of community, light refreshments, and a 5K walk in support of those living with pulmonary hypertension (PH). This event will culminate in a powerful sendoff as Eric begins his incredible journey walking from Los Angeles to San Diego to raise critical funds and awareness for PH — a devastation disease that most people have never heard of. Come out and join us to show your support and help bring hope to patients and families fighting pulmonary hypertension everyday.
