Aired November 1, 2026: In this podcast, Lisa Foxx talks to their CEO, Pam Jenkins, all about how they are helping folks battling with addiction and about their fundraising walk. "Together, we are stronger than addiction". Lets talk about how Shatterproof began and then dive into how the Shatterproof philosophy is different....
Shatterproof focuses on dismantling the systemic stigma surrounding Substance Use Disorder (SUD). They advocate for federal and state policy reforms, educate the public on treating addiction as a chronic medical condition, and provide free resources to support families navigating recovery.
Nov 7th, come together to grieve those we have lost, to celebrate with those in recovery, and to walk to end addiction together. Together, across the country, the Shatterproof community walks to raise awareness for substance use disorder, raise funds for advocacy, treatment access, and prevention programs, and bring hope to the more than 48 million Americans living with substance use disorder. We honor the lives of those we have lost, celebrate those who are living in recovery, and support individuals, families, and communities impacted by SUD.
Shatterproof is a national nonprofit organization that's dedicated to improving outcomes for Americans impacted by substance use disorder. Together, we:
- Provide trusted guidance and support to communities
- Remove systemic and social barriers to treatment
- Mobilize the country to advocate for change and to end addiction stigma
