ThisAbility –IS ADHD considered a disability?

View descriptionShare
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a disorder that is very common in today’s children. In fact, it is estimated that 8 - 10% of children in SA have ADHD, meaning, not only is it something that parents need to consider managing at home, but more importantly, ADHD is something that teachers need to not only try identity, but to also manage in the classroom. For parents, the reassurance lies in knowing that their child’s teacher is taking their behaviours into account, and teaching them according to their specific learning needs.
