പീക്കുവിന് പീലി വിരിച്ചാടാൻ വലിയ ഇഷ്ടമാണ്. പക്ഷെ അവന്റെ നൃത്തം കാണാൻ കാട്ടിൽ ആർക്കും നേരമില്ല. എല്ലാവർക്കും തിരക്കാണ്. ഒരിക്കൽ പീക്കു ഒരു പുഴക്കരയിലേക്ക് വെള്ളം കുടിക്കാൻ പോയതായിരുന്നു. അപ്പോൾ അവിടെ വേറെയും ചില മൃഗങ്ങളൊക്കെ വെള്ളം കുടിക്കാൻ വന്നിട്ടുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ചിലർ പുഴക്കരയിൽ അൽപ സമയം വിശ്രമിക്കുന്നുമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അപ്പോൾ പീക്കുവിന് തോന്നി, 'ഇപ്പോൾ എല്ലാവരും ഇവിടെ ഉണ്ടല്ലോ, ഞാൻ അന്ന് പഠിച്ച ആ നല്ല നൃത്തം ഇപ്പോൾ കാണിച്ചു കൊടുത്താലോ'. എന്നിട്ടോ? കഥ കേട്ടോളൂ...

Peeku, the peacock loves to spread his feathers and dance. But no one in the forest has time to watch his dance. Everyone are busy. One day, Peeku had gone to a riverbank to drink water. There, other animals had also come to drink water. Some were also resting for a while on the riverbank. Then Peeku thought, 'Everyone is here now, aren't they?
