The Full House star shares her experience performing on the Masked Singer and how scary it can be for a non-singer, even without the mask!

All Right, this week on episode seven was Carnival Night, and we have some really fun new characters. First up to perform was Yorki. I mean, I loved Yorki. She is feisty, didn't stand still, but I loved it.

She was so she's like the epitome of what this show is my exact thoughts really yeah, yeah.
That was the world that was going to use as well epitome she pessimizes the show.
Yeah, where it's just like she came out to have, Like I hope and pray whoever that is can come on the show when she's unmasked, because she's just so much fun.

Well first of, all thank you for doing. THIS i was so happy to see you on the show, because first of, ALL i. WAS i was shocked because you said you never sang And i'm like. THIS i was, like because BEFORE i knew who it, WAS i kind of had an, idea but then when you got, REVEALED i was, like, Okay i'll now it definitely makes. Sense BUT i was, like you have a great, voice AND i felt like you were maybe insecure about.
That that's so.
SWEET i don't THINK i have a good. Voice it was, like it's. True it is the scariest Thing i've ever done BECAUSE i. DON'T i don't sing very. WELL i tried my best AND i tried to have fun with, it but it's such an insecurity and. WEIRD i like the performance. Part that part was. EASY i actually felt so much better once the mask was. OFF i had way more. Fun but, yeah singing, is, uh it's.

Costume it was, awesome but like it's it's just unsettling in that you're walking in huge platform shoes and you've got this big head on and you can't really see and it makes the whole process that much.

Claustrophobic, NO i didn't get, claustrophobic BUT i would imagine that some people in the other costumes, would but mine was VERY.
I was a very. CLAUSTROPHOBIC i hated that piece of. IT i was, like, okay so how DO i take this, off you, know because it's just feels you just feel.

Chest AND i was, LIKE i don't want something like. That SO i was very grateful THAT i had a costume that, actually you, KNOW i could move. In it was pretty much a body suit with a pretty dress on. It you, know it had all kinds of beautiful fairy blossoms all over.
It but it was really a really pretty. Costume, YEAH i got. It was one of the things THAT i was, LIKE i love this was your driving force of doing the show For, bob like you said in your, package because that just like watching that back, then knowing it was, YOU i was, like oh it.
WAS i mean a couple of. Reasons i've been asked to do the show several.
Times i'm So i'm so terrified of singing in front of, people So i've said.
No this was the fourth time they asked.

Him But i'm like sitting on my couch And i'm, like what is this crazy? Show this crazy people are walking out in these. Costumes they're like it was so nuts to, me AND i, Go i'm just going to watch one. Episode and as soon as the squiggly eyed monster walked, OUT i heard one note AND i was.

I kind OF i JUST i loved it from then on out because he was the introduction for me to the.

Sweet i've never seen anyone so exciting as when you got the text message that you are asked to be on.
It oh, YEAH i was so. Excited and he had no idea about the, show so he was like. What i'm, like they're the mess, singer like what you? Know and then you show them And i'm LIKE i was trying to show them this, stuff and he was just, like you want to do? THIS i was, like, yeah it looks so, fun because that was the whole, Thing like it's just, fun you, know like you can just LIKE i Hated dancing with The stars because that was a big insecurity BECAUSE i don't know how to, dance but like with the that it's like you've got a mask, on like go have fun and like that's just so funny. Thing you. KNOW i shouldn't SAY i Hated dance with The. Stars it was just a very. Insecure it was my least favorite of the SHOWS i.

OFF i Hope i'm the first one off BECAUSE i don't want to do this. Again i'm so scared to sing in front of. People but then of course when they called my, NAME i was, like what, Come, yeah this isn't?

Married SO i was, Like i'm ready to go, home LIKE i did you know a couple of shows, COOL i want to. Go and then when they say you're, done it's, LIKE i like galloti eyed BECAUSE i don't want to. Know, YEAH i don't want to, lose like losing.

Funny what were you like in the BECAUSE i remember when you were in the dressing room and they were like all the stuff to get you your costume ready For you can hear other people singing and, rehearsing can't. You so what how did you feel when you're not being a singer and not enjoying singing in front of. People what were you like at that moment when you could hear other people. Rehearsing because there's some in your, sections some really good singles as.

Up AND i didn't do that growing up. Either it was something THAT i started to do more and post my divorce because that was my way, of you, know Bringing god in and not not feeling. Chutch but she is a lot more godly and religious based than WHAT i. Am like praying at This LIKE i never grew up with anyone praying at the table or things like.
That SO i guess my question, is how did you because there are times when you, know we go around the table now BECAUSE i don't want to always put it on my daughter to. Pray So i'm, like now it goes and you, know to my Son, JASIC i don't just say, it And i'm, like you can say whatever you. Want you can just be, like thank you for the. Husband, yeah it's, UH i, mean it's a it's a delicate, Balance i'll say. That AND i think that WHEN i really JUST i just so desired to Know, god AND i really wanted that relationship more than doing the, thing more than just like we have to pray or we have to go to. CHURCH i just desired to Know. God and what does that look like in my? Life and how DO i teach my kids Who god is IF i don't really know Who god is. Myself that started the journey of wanting to read The bible and so but of, course like in the, BEGINNING i was so fired, up AND i was so excited THAT i really wanted my husband to just be on board and understand and take the journey with me and understand and learn everything THAT i was.

A, christian LIKE i believe In, jesus but he didn't grow up praying at the table or going to church Every, sunday same kind of. Thing, so you, know we had, some you, know a lot of discussions about, it and eventually he just, said look like you, do you do your. Thing let me go at my own, pace like stop pushing it on, me let me just.
Grow and that's WHEN i was, like.
Okay and there's a verse in The bible in One peter three one that, says, now don't get mad at me because it's a word people don't, like but it, says, likewise wives be submissive to your, husband so that even if they do not obey the, word they your husband without a, word without you saying a, word maybe one over To christ by the conduct of their.

Just be walk my walk and do the things That god's called me to, do that hopefully that will reflect without me like trying to push, it say.
It you, know you got to do, this got to do. That it's just the reflection of.
The change of my own heart that my husband would, Go, okay, LIKE i See god working in your, life and that's attractive to, me so maybe you, KNOW i want to pursue. That that's HOW i see the, Verse that's how that worked in my. LIFE i basically was, Like, Okay i'm going to let the reins go and value you go at your own.
Pace i'm going to go at my.
Pace and you, know in a couple of, years my husband just learned, learned and then he was, like, Okay i'm going to start reading The. BIBLE i want to see if this is. True and eventually he was, like, YEAH i believe. It and then it was like very open to going to, church and then more and more over the, years, listen praying at our table with our kids was so uncomfortable for me BECAUSE i could feel the same, thing like it just felt. Icky and yet we've been married now twenty nine years and so.
Amazing that didn't happen.
Overnight that was a process of like probably ten years walking in faith till we both got to the same place where we were, like we're both on. Board this is what we want to do and teach our kids and.
How we want to walk this. Walk but it wasn't, overnight.
Right, Okay, yeah WELL i think only a weak man would take that information and just totally change over. Overnight. ANYWAY i think when you force people to and not that you've done that at, all you've approached it in a soft. Manner BUT i think you'll eventually get the person that will fully immerse and believe in it, eventually rather than someone who's, Like, okay if that's what you, want then i'll do, it and they'll say they'll do, it but they won't actually fully believe.

YEAH i think the gradual thing like these guys have experienced as the best is the best way to do. It AND i pray some things with. You no you do you?

Keep, praying, like just keep keep Asking, god reveal this to me in my, life show me who you, are show me how to walk this, walk and pray for the growth individually in your lives to grow at the pace That god just opens and reveals. Things prayer is the best place you can, start and And god hears all of our.
Prayers so just don't stop praying for each other and praying for your marriage and your. Kids it's.
BEAUTIFUL i, Agree AND i JUST i love following you and all that you do say on there because it is refreshing to to see, that you. KNOW I i've had people leave because they're, like stop pushing this and LIKE i posted a VERSE i liked and you, know put on A Brandon lake song LIKE i don't, like and that's, fine you can, go you know WHAT i. Mean But i'm also like this is a piece of me That I'm i'm also trying to to bring in BECAUSE i don't want to do this alone BECAUSE i feel so much pressure and isolated at, times like not from him or anybody, else but LIKE i just feel Like i'd take on so, much LIKE i need a place to go and be LIKE i just need help with. This can you just take away some of this aggression or this like frustration because it feels so isolating if you if you, don't you, Know and SOMETIMES i forget to go to that. Place, FIRST i forget to. Pray, FIRST i just get angry and all out of. Sorts but WHEN i go there more LIKE i opened my book this morning And i'm, like, oh, OKAY i instantly felt, calm you, know and everything THAT i was frustrated with went. Away so it's just it's a and IF i actually put that into practice every single, day like how that could be so.
Beneficial you, know that's really the key to, life in growth and. Anything it is, consistency whether you're an athlete and your, training whether you're, parenting it's consistency with with, parenting consistency in your prayer life and, opening you, know talking To god every.
Day.
Consistency if more people, were if we were all as consistent as we should, be things.
Would just look a lot.
Different but a lot of us just, forget or we bail really quickly on, it or we just let other things take priority in our.
Lives.
Right you said in an interview to that playing ADULT Dj tanner was one of the best experiences of your, life AND i was, curious is it because you got to have almost like a full circle with Taking is it the ownership or is it the because there was so. MUCH i remember watching it too and then seeing you, know all the headlines and they talked about your, WAY i mean just. Things i'm like god as a. Kid so the fact that you got to come back more as an empowered, woman was that what the best experienced part of it? Was or what was?
It, no, honestly it was coming back together with everyone from the. Show LIKE i loved being On Full house as a. Kid even if there were a few episodes that you, know felt a little awkward as a, teenager it paled in comparison to just the love that we had on that show for eight years as a. Kid they were the most formative years AND i adored. Everyone so to come back as an adult and revisit the character that honestly felt like my sister or my best, FRIEND i got to play, her come back and then re imagine her as an adult figure out who she. Is but then come back and get to work with some of my best FRIENDS i work in our adult life was like the best thing. Ever and THEN i just love. COMEDY i love, comedy sitcom like it's so. Enjoyable so it really was the, best just the best experience of my life to come back to Do Fuller.

Doing dave's Doing, okay he's you, know he's still fighting through and there's there's ups and. Downs it's the hardships of going through chemo and all all that he's going. Through so good days and bad.

SITCOM i love being on family. TELEVISION i love the weekly being on a weekly. Show but comedy really is WHERE i feel LIKE i thrive and so that's that's the. Goal but in addition to, that we are you, know faith based programming is super important to me.
Too so we had the Movie Unsung.
Hero that was released last year in theaters that is such a beautiful movie did really, well so my company's going to continue to produce some bigger films in that type of, genre Which i'm really excited.
