YouTube TV, iHeartRadio, the iHeartRadio app, plenty of different places where you can find Vsin twenty four to seven I'm storry About It Tony alongside former NFL offensive lineman and sports betting analyst Jeff Schwartz. Lots to get to this hour, including about thirty minutes. VP of Operations here at CIRCO, where I am broadcasting from. Mike Palm will join us on the desk. He was supposed to come on next segment, but it's been pushed back because quote, he is on a call with the White House. We will explain that further a little bit later on in the show. That's what we call a tease, isn't it, Jeff, it is.
I'm excited to hear this. I've never talked to the White House before, so I'm curious to see what he has to say.
Yes, we will dive into that as well as some of the coaching news for anyone who missed it.
The Raiders have found their man. Former Seattle Seahawks and Super Bowl winning head coach Pete.
Carroll, at seventy three years old, is back in the head seat.
He will be the next head coach of the Raiders, taking over for Antonio Pierce.
We also have an interesting reality TVESQ situation that's going on with now former Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Liam Cohen, who looks to be the next head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars. So we will dive into all of that, But I want to kick off this hour getting into the AFC Conference Championship.
Bill's Chiefs. This is the.
Game we wanted, Josh Allen, you want to change the narrative on your legacy. It's the game you have to win one and a half two point dog in Kansas City at Arrowhead total forty eight and a half.
Jeff, how do you feel about.
It, well, the game of the total or everything, because this game is going to be fantastic. Cannot wait to watch these two teams go at it for fourth straight playoff in a situation where the numbers one and a half. These teams are very even right this neutral field, you're making it pick them in Kansas City, make a one and a half. These teams are are very even stormy, They're good at a lot of the same things, and they don't turn the ball over, they don't make bad mistakes. And so the team that is able to basically not kind of play play their game right, like just do the things that we just talked about, not make mistakes, not turn over, is probably gonna win. There's gonna be a weird play in this game that we can't see. Four come again, the Bills have the lowest turnover rate I believe in NFL history and offense for for a single season. And she's not the ball over nine nine games in a row. Now, so again, like who missed the field goal, who wants smash team's air, Who has the fumble? Who is the ball last? Who goes for on a fourth down doesn't convert? Who goes forth? And does convert. Now, there things I like in this game, for as wags I like. But to me, shorty, this game is dead even I'll have it the winner for you later. Maybe did to tell you the segment, but to me it does feel very very even where I can easily see the Bills winning or the Chiefs winning.
Yeah, and I already told everybody an now are won. My favorite play of the weekend is the most basic be teaser in the world, which is bringing the Eagles down and just having them to win and then buffalo up from two because there are twos out there, including here at CIRCA bring them from two up to eight. Because you mentioned the turnovers, Steve Macinnonbison dot com, he's got a full article up right now breaking down a handful of different trends, streaks, et cetera, one of which about turnovers that going back to two thousand and three, teams that turn the ball over fewer times in a conference championship are on a run of thirty two and four against the spread. These are, to your point, two of the best teams not turning over the football. And for Josh Allen and the Bill specifically, you said it best in history that we have seen from the regular season to now Josh Allen just six picks, only throwing one interception from December first to now. Buffalo as an offense has also only given up fourteen sacks this season, which is the best in the league. And I look at last week's game for Houston against Kansas City where complain about the calls all you want, but let us not forget you also gave up eight sacks, miss two field goals, missed an extra point. This game is going to come down to who plays more mistake free football. You're not going to win games when you're in that situation. Speaking to the calls, because Will Hill was on the program earlier, he was trolling you. He was telling people specifically to follow you so that they control you about the Kansas City Chiefs, and he calls the Patrick Mahomes guess what the QB one says.
I don't agree. I don't think that happens.
Not.
I don't feel that way. I mean, I just try to play football. At the end of the day, the referees are doing their best to call the game is as fair and as proper as they possibly can, and all you can do is go out there and play the game that you love as hard as you can and live with the results. And so for me, it's to go out there, play hard, try to do whatever I can to win the football game, and then live with the results based off my effort and the way that we played the game. And so I think that's what we preach here in Kansas City.
So, Jeff, before you go off, I actually want to give you some support. And I saw Kyle Brandt of Good Morning Football put this out earlier, so I'm totally stealing it for him. But I think that it's great and will support your cause. Patrick Mahomes has had six personal fouls drawn this season. Josh Allen has had ten. Since twenty eighteen, when Josh Allen entered the lead, Patrick Mahomes has had thirty nine personal fouls drawn. Josh Allen has had sixty two. So I know a lot of people will still come out here and say it's not about how many, it's about the when and the moments that Kansas.
City gets these calls.
Sure, it is annoying at times to know that a quarterback can gain the system the way that he does, but it's also kind of like BELICHICKI in right that you find any loophole that you can find, and Patrick Mahomes is just better at it. It's like Globo Jim, we're better than you and we know it. And that's what Patrick Mahomes does in some of these instances. It's annoying, but it wins.
A Romeo Cornell reference today and a Dollgeball reference.
I like it look very multi fast.
Here's a deal. Every time you bring up a counter to the Chiefs are favored essentially right by the NFL. The goal polts move right. It just changes because they're not right. They're not. We see in sports all the time. Two things. One home teams get more calls than away teams. The Chiefs have played a majority of their of their playoff games at home again this weekend. Two superstars tend to get more treatment than non superstars, and Patrick Mahomes tends to get better calls than maybe other corporate But they doesn't explain obviously why Josh Allen has more personal fouls. Go look at there's a social media just look looks Josh Allen flops if you want to put that in there for you. But also too, there are bad faith actors on social media posting penalty numbers that are not accurate. They don't take into consideration declined penalties. They don't take in the consideration penalty yardage. They don't think in the station. The Chiefs don't make dumb penalties. This is why they win. The better teams in the National Football League do not beat themselves. The Chiefs do not be In fact, I would argue that you the opposite right when you beat yourself, is when they're their best. If you make a mistake, they pounce. I heard you say earlier, It's right. You know they're vulnerable, woman, I said they're vulnerable. Well, we said that for two and a half years now. But what they do best, okay, is that the Bill's make one mistake, they miss a field goal, they have a turnover, they have a penalty that derails the driver helps the Chiefs. They're going to pounce on that immediately and score points and make you pay. And that's what they do so well.
But that's why I think the Bills this year are different because what is the biggest issue with Josh Allen been in his career, So he turns over the football, he does this masterful plays, but then he messes it up he makes the mistake. This year, he's not making the mistakes. And that's why for me, I give the lean to Buffalo. I like taking the two with them. I think that this is the year that they finally slay the Giant and I yesterday Grace was asking me my feelings on this game, and I said I felt stuck.
I wasn't sure which way I was going to go on it.
It felt very similar to me about how I thought last week with the Bills and Ravens game. I said it could go either way. This week, I'm sure if Kansas City wins, everybody's gonna say the same thing. We're so stupid for betting against the Chiefs because this is what they do in the postseason. Sure, I just feel something in my bones when I slept on it overnight and woke up this morning.
The Buffalo is going to win this game. I just do.
I feel like Josh Allen's going to figure it out. He's going to have his moment. The Bills are four and one in the regular season against the Chiefs. They have not been able to get it done. If Patrick Mahomes wins this game, he will be the first quarterback in NFL postseason history. To beat another QB head to head four times, it's amazing, but I don't think it happens.
Okay, how much of this is based on the Chiefs against Texans versus like how the Chiefs ended the regular season. So I feel like people are looking not just you. I'm not saying you're doing this, but people are looking at the way they put it into the Texans on offense and sort of making a judgment that they're not whole. And I would just argue that the way that game started, I'll kind of put you behind your first fifteen plays and then we had forty six plays before the final series of the game, Like they didn't really get into a rhythmall game. They didn't have to, but even do a lot of it. Like, I just think that we're judging their offense based off of a really good Texans defense off twenty four days rest, and if we go back to the end of the season when their off which was playing well, if that offense shows up, this game is much different than what we.
Think it's going to be for sure, and I think this offense is going to be better, especially because the Bills do have some injuries safety Taylor Rap out with a hip injury. Matt Milano and their slot Terren Johnson could go, but they're beat up with a hamstring and shoulder injury. Christian Benford still in the concussion protocol. We're going to see a rookie starting safety, second round pick from the University Utah, Cold Bishop out there.
Trying to slow down Travis Kelcey.
You know, it's not going to be easy for this Bill's defense that has taken their lumps throughout the course of the year as well.
But Buffalo has shown this year they can do it.
You got to go to Arrowhead, you have to do it on the road in the postseason. This is just for Josh Allen and his legacy, And I know it's so annoying to talk about that on a sports betting network, but I think that it's critical.
He has to get over the hump.
Otherwise, like it's going to be Patrick Mahomes and everybody else.
And that's what it's been for years. Is that what it's going.
To be because Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen. If Patrick Mahomes doesn't exist, who knows how many Super Bowls they have?
Oh, but he does exist. And so you have to be able to slay the bear.
I've said this for years. I mean, if there was if there was no Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen be Patrick Mahomes. But unfortunately there is one. And yeah, look, Buffalo is playing a championship brand of football. You mentioned an offensive line when of the best in the NFL. By the way, if you don't know that, now you do. Spencer Brown road tackle to not play, I believe in the first game. So he's back. Dean Dawkin's fantastic Chiefs. The offensive lines, it's just the best part about this game is very much good on good good quarterback, good offense of line, good this, good that. So it's gonna be a lot of fun to watch this game. Again, it's going to come down, in my opinion, to an error someone makes that we don't know handicap that at the moment. And the Chiefs just don't make a lot of those. The Bills this year have not made a lot of those. Should be really fun game Sunday night.
Yes, and there are a couple more angles. Actually I do want to get into. And because Mike Palm has been pushed back, maybe next segment is where we do it specifically your thoughts on Travis Kelce because last week we had a lot of success cash on Kelsey props. We were laddering them. Well, guess what, ladies and gentlemen, those markets have moved, So let's get into them and find out your thoughts. Coming up next, we are just getting started here our two of Money Moves.
You're watching Money Moves care on feesand it's the Sports Vetting Network.
How do you approach play a team that you've played more than like anybody else. Yeah, I mean I think it's it's like a division game, and I feel like we've played them just as much as we've played the guys in our division. And you know with that comes familiarity, new wrinkles here and there throughout the game. But you know, they know who we are, we know who they are, and it literally just comes down to who executes well on Sunday. You know, we can put all these plays in and expect one thing, and they can throw a wrinkle and do something completely different and vice versa. So again, just trust your rules, trust the guys on the field, and just play football.
I think that's such a good way to put it.
That is Bill's quarterback Josh Allen discussing the AFC Championship game coming up this weekend against Kansas City and Jeff especially when you think about how truly evenly matched all time these meetings have been there four and four against one another, the difference being the Bills are four and one in the regular season the Chiefs three and oh. When it really matters in the playoffs.
The thing that you should feel good about if you're a Buffalo fan is they're not going to be intimidated by the moment right where I could see the Commanders going to Philly and it's a little intimidated. They're not obviously going to outwardly say that, but you show up and the link is gets a little wild and crazy, right, I mean, it's a tough place to play. Buffalo is going to not fear the situation at all. They've been the Chiefs this season, first of all, but they've also played really close playoff games the last two, right, the thirteen second game and then the game last year the Chiefs won by a field goal. Buffalo ofvitusly miss a field goal there laying that game. So there's not going to be any just just any internal part of you that says like, we can't do this right because they know they can't even though they haven't done it yet. So that's I think what Josh Allaen was talking about, like we we know this team well, we know we have to do and I'll tell you it's a Chiefs fan. Josh Allen terrifies me. Like he is a good football player. Story and the things he can do on the field. We saw obviously the fourth and two run last game to seal the game. But he's hard to sack, he's hard to bring down, he's hard to fool. The Chiefs love to bring pressure, as we know with spags. But if you bring pressure and Josh Allen sees it a he runs be the balls out quickly finds a wide receiver. So it's a very even matchup. And I hate going back to this point about something unforeseen is gonna happen, but that is what's going to happen in this game, and I the Chiefs can withstand that better. They've been in situition before. We'll see I Buffalo can now the Chiefs well over three times lose the game.
To your point against the about the Chiefs defense, according to bet Labs.
The Chiefs defense.
Has been dominant as we know right, allowing opponents just eighteen point eight points per game. But Josh Allen against elite defenses twenty seven and seven straight up twenty six to seven and one against the spread against teams who allowed twenty points or fewer per game, consistently, by the way, putting up multi touchdown performances. So when he does face good defenses, he puts on the cape, he excels. To play.
If you are someone you know has a gambling problem and wants help, call or text one eight hundred gambler trying to get down a big bet at the best line. Sport trade is the way to do it. And there are also a handful of props in this game. We haven't touched on a ton of them, but I specifically want to go to Travis kelce here briefly because of how significant of an adjustment we've seen on his numbers from last week to this one.
We laddered his props last week. It was a beautiful thing.
We're taking receptions over, we're taking yards over, we're taking any time touchdown cashes them all. And with that, his number in the yardage stand stand markets, excuse me, goes from low fifties to now sixty nine and a half, his receptions from five and a half to six and a half juiced minus one twenty to the over, his anytime touchdown in the plus one fifty plus one sixty range to now plus one twenty five. So the market has adjusted to Travis kelcey and people still want to bet as overs.
Yeah, I see seventy and a half right now on DK, which so look, we hit this last week as my favorite bed of the week. We talked about it over receptions and over yards, and I'm happy keeping that money in my pocket for this weekend on this wage restore me. I feel like you had your chance last weekend to do it. I don't want to be the under though, and have to sit there and being like, well, Travis Kelcey doesn't you're more than seventy yards. I mean, it's likely if he gets five six catches he'll go over for this number. But Matt Mulano being back certainly helps Buffalo and this match up. He wasn't there in week one and in fact has to pout with the Chiefs Ferry often. He's been hurt a lot of times in his career when they play Kansas City. So I would lean towards just staying away, because again, do you want to be in the under in this and no, no, no, you don't. I will tell you another option to look here and this will be one of my best bet letter. I took this already. Is Noah Gray over. It's not fifteen and a half yards, it was fourteen and a half earlier this week. He is a guy that the Chiefs do throw to in the postseason that Mahomes does trust him, and with all the attention placed on Travis Kelcey, Noah Gray the backup tight end who does play a lot. They play a lot of twelve personnel. It's called right, two tight ends, one running back, thirteen personnel one running back, three tight ends. I mean, Noah Great could be an option here for the Chiefs of this game if Kelsey is to much attention on Kelsey by you know, by Buffalo. But again, the injuries are an issue, right, but one safety out, maybe the other safety out, maybe Milano not healthy. So it's a long way to say I like Noah Gray over and I would stay with him Kelsey.
Travis Kelcey all time ranks in the postseason, one hundred and seventy two catches in the playoffs and nine one hundred plus yard receiving games, both number one in NFL history. That's more than Jerry Rice, which there aren't a lot of more than Jerry Rice postseason things that exist. His twenty twenty receiving yards and twenty touchdowns second in NFL history. Him and Patrick Mahomes the top duo in NFL history by a lot more than Montana and Rice, more than Tom Brady and Gronk. It is significant what they have been able to do together. That said, I am in one hundred percent agreement with you. I'm not taking the over, but I'm not giving my money back to the sportsbook or risking it either on Travis Kelcey props this week because of the significant jump that we have seen in the numbers.
The Noah Gray stuff is interesting.
Anything else prop wise that stood out to you as you were kind of going through these different markets or touchdown scorers, you think that could be worth a look get their given prices.
Yeah, I'm good at a lot of things. I'm not good touchdown wager. I told you this. I'm the worst human ever touchdown wagers. I'm not thank you.
Thank you by the way for that, because what did we get last week because you didn't jump in. We got the Kelsey and we got the Sam Laporta, So it was good you stay away if we want to cash.
Touchdown town, I'm not doing any of that other So a couple of other things I looked at for this game. Again, I've not played these, and we could go over. I have best bets that have played in this game. So we'll talk about other ones I looked at that I think are worth looking at. Deogren Hopkins has seen his production just sort of to Terry recently, and he's just not a player that I think is dynamic enough in these moments to just get open. Now he's one on one, he's targeted. They do run plays for him, but he's not a guy that's running across the field. He's not a guy that's getting open on scrambling. So his number right now is twenty four and a half. It's very low average thirty nine or thirty six yards a game. I will look I look under for Hopkins on the other side, look at at Brown, maybe over Hollywood Brown me the Chiefs, I think I'll throw the ball to wide receiver this game. That'll be the guy. So those are two that I've looked at. Also, as far as rush rushing, I think Kareem Hunt is probably the guy. The Chiefs gonna are gonna rely on the bills of a good run defense, and typically when they play good team with good run defense, that go with the battering ram, which is Kareem Hunt. So rush is over eight and a half, that's probably where I would lean first storey yards, I think it'll be hard to come by as well. So those are two I get. I haven't made those, but I might have him in and I've done the research on them obviously to see if I like them moving forward. James Cook under I just like taking running back to under against caan'ta say Joe Mixon got over last week or in that game. We rushed the ball well, but the Chiefs just don't allow running backs a lot to get a lot of yards.
Yeah, maybe James Cook under And to your point earlier, Josh Allen over, if that's the way that they're going to get their yards on the ground, what about if in Commander's Eagles, Terry McLaurin touchdown in three straight games, at least one in seven of the last eight. He's got nine total touchdowns in those eight. I was thinking about just a small bet.
On him for any time touchdown.
If you think I'm wrong, it's gonna inspire me to bet it. Plus one thirty thoughts.
Just gonna stay away another one. I mean, look, these are ones I'm giving out later too. I love the gamewell props in this game. I always do gain well over. I think it's eight and a half now, was much higher earlier this week. Look touchdown wise, I guess, I guess he might score. But the Commanders have lots of options. I can see Austin Eckler, by the way, have a couple of catches, a couple of receptions, some yards in the screen game against Eagles pass rush, right, you want to screen good pass rushes. Eckler seems to be that guy for the Commanders at times, so there are other props to hit. But I have a whole slew of them. Yeah, and best bet story. I know a lot of best bets too.
Yeah, I'll say I'm ruining your life because we are doing best bets at the end of the program. But I'm just I'm curious that segment goes by fast. I wanted to get a little rationale. Throw a couple different thing agains you. Austin Eckler's receptions prop, by the way, set it two and a half. So for inquiring minds, if you're interested, there his rush yards also nineteen and a half, rushing attempts five and a half. Anytime touchdown Broston Eckler plus two seventy, we're going to hit the brake.
You hear that music.
But when we come back, we're gonna be joined on set by VP of Operations here at Circle Resorts. You know, Mike Palm gonna join us next fresh.
From a very important call.
Don't miss it.
You're watching Money Moves Care on Feesen's, the sports betting Network.
Thank You're on.
Money Moves Linm in downtown Las Vegas, Circa Resort and Casino, Stormy bon Antoni with you alongside Jeff Schwartz as we now welcome into the program. VP of Operations here at Circa, Mike Palm. We had to push you back a segment because I heard you were on the phone with the White House.
Yeah, a lot of meetings in anticipation of President Trump's arrival tomorrow. He's having an event here, a rally here at Circa in the ballroom. Everything's up, moving target. But sometime late morning it looks like how.
Did this come to get here?
He planned his He's out in California today looking at the destruction from the fires, and on his way back, made a decision. I think on Wednesday he wanted to stop in Las Vegas to do a rally. In an announcement, so like four or five different hotels get vetted about, you know where he would go, and we got chosen. So you know, like if you would have told me what were the chances we'd be picked, I'd say, what ten percent? I mean when you're competing with some of the other larger properties. But not everybody supported him, so that might have narrowed the list of it.
If he walk up to the window trying to make a money line wager on one of these games, as we can, what's his limit.
I don't think he'd have any limit.
I think as long as he talks to Jeff Benson ahead of time and he bets ninety minutes before the game, Jeff, he'll be fired. I got bumped here and I got bumped on six seventy the score this morning and from my usual Friday spot because oh they had Ben Johnson on.
So I think it's okay, like these are special circumstances.
Would before me, because then I ripped him for twenty minutes when I came.
On after that would be hysterical.
If you weren't on beforehand, No, I couldn't. Then I couldn't really do it beforehand. I mean, he would have listened to it, I would love.
To know the ripping. Then, so, what were your thoughts on the Ben Johnson hire.
Well, I prefer people that have head coach experience. I think it's the same thing with the President of the United States. If we can relate it to Trump. You see the people with executive experience, people that were governors or in Trump's case of CEO, easier to transition than people who are say congressmen, who represent a faction of people, like a coordinator does, represents the segment.
Of the team, and he's never had to do that.
He had the best possible guy to be a frontman for him in Detroit, right, the best possible guy who handled the media and handled the fans and everybody loved them, dealt with the ownership. Who he will have to assume that role in Chicago, and there's no one to take any part of that away from him. It's certainly not Polls, it's certainly not Warren. And then, I mean, people are upset at the comment I made. I said, Look, the guy just signed a sixty five million dollar contract. You think in the biggest press conference of his life he could have.
Had a suit that fit.
I mean that suit was two sizes too big. But you know, are people in Chicago want hope. They really want hope, So they don't want they don't want to hear anything negative because they're going to turn it around, and they're going to turn it around quick in that division.
So do you like to Pete Carroll hire then a guy with previous coaching experience, is he is the right guy for the Raiders? Well?
I loved it, Jeff, I absolutely loved it. And I said it, and Paul Howard looked at me like I had three eyes. He said, he's seventy four years old. I said, Paul, you're so Google gaga over seventy three old Belichick going to Chapel Hill. Now you're going to tell me Pete Carroll is too old. I think Pete Carroll's an adult in the room there. I think it's a great deal.
I think Pete.
Carroll and Tom Brady together can guide this franchise back to relevance in that three year time span that he gave him a contract, and then he can turn it over to a younger coach after that. I'm excited by the move for Pete Carroll.
And I saw Schefter say on the Pat McFee show today that part of why Brady was drawn to Pete Carroll was because he wanted to bring in somebody that he respects.
And you think about the.
Culture that a guy like that could bring in where Vegas. That's clearly an area that they have struggled the last handful of years.
Sure, and they've had some vacuums of leadership, right, we know that you need to energy energize.
The city about this team too, Like.
Really, they're the the least franchise until maybe the A's if they ever get.
Also tell Paul by the way, he turned seventy four in September, Relax, he's in ages.
Paul's an agis.
But the guys won at every level and he will I think he will excite the fan base or generate a fan base there.
Right.
The fan base here is number one nights, very very loyal to the Knights, and I think it's gotten to be more and more aces right, And the Raiders are a southern California. California franchise is still where they draw the majority of their fans from.
It's not from here in Las Vegas.
Where do you think of the Lillam Cone situation. We've spent much time on it today because we've had other things to talk about. But you seem well versed in coaching, hires and firings and the way this went. This went down a little odd. Does it make kid not believe in Liam Cohne was the head coach in Jacksonville?
I don't know, or or do coaches not believe in Jacksonville either. I mean, I know there's two sides of the story and how it happened. He's in, he's out, He's in and he's out out. The big elephant in the room there is you're saddled with Trevor Lawrence. And if you don't believe Trevor Lawrence can take you to the next level your whatever you do as a coach.
You're not going to make it. And you have to.
Understand also that these guys get one shot, a lot of them. They're going to get one shot. And look poor Thomas Brown with the Bears. I mean, this guy will never get another shot at it because of how bad it went when he was thrust into it. So you better make sure that you can be reasonably successful the first time. At least there's something to highlight for you. I know the wife tweeted out there was family situations, right, and that's what happened with their children and very upset. So I don't want to assume to know anything about that. But I always thought this whole deal was more about Jacksonville than than about Cohn.
What did you make of shod Con taking so long to get rid of Trent Balky?
Well, shot CON's a guy that the more he says he's all in for a person, the more he's not. Like every time when you you know, the GM of a cup and he comes in, he says, I finally got my team in place. You know one of the directors is getting fired in the next month. It's like the death Noll right When people say that, I think the problems start with seod Gun and then.
The leaders roster.
Ever, ever, I actually thought Doug Peterson didn't do a bad job. I might be in the minority there. I didn't think he did a bad job. And I don't think Mike McCarthy did a bad job in Dallas. I actually think, Jeff that McCarthy to the Bears and Ben Johnson to Dallas makes more sense for both situations. Ben Johnson higher is a higher like it was when you had to draft the quarterback Caleb. You can't take a chance and not do it because everybody thinks that person's the best. So if it doesn't work out, you're done the same thing with Ben Johnson. If you pass on Ben Johnson, everybody said Ben Johnson was the number one prospect.
You have to hold the wrath for that.
But I think Ben Johnson goes to Dallas where Jerry's the show.
Right.
You don't have to be a media person at all. You just work with that offense. And I would I like to see Mike McCarthy work with Caleb Williams. So I know I'm in the minority on a lot of those opinions. What do you think, Jeff? I want to ask you about the NFC Championship Game. I took six with the Commanders, and I do it begrudgingly because I know the Eagles are superior. The Eagles offensive line this superior, and the Eagles defensive line is superior, and the game should be one on the lines.
I thought six was too much. What are your thoughts on the game?
Yeah? I mean story and I talked about this. I think putting Eagles in a teaser would be the best way to maybe go here. Do we get a rogue seven like last week, We're on game day, the Rams got up to plus seven, You're going to happen. I would I'd be considering the Commanders at seven if I could get one like that.
Yeah, I don't know. That was shocked at. I was shocked at the Rams game.
Wasn't seven before the game, And I'm shocked this as six because I really think this number should be four and a half or five, especially division opponents with the familiarity. Yeah, levels things out playing three times.
Yeah, I just think we're working quarterbacks in this spot up not played well. It's only been a five sample and five games, so small sample size. But I think the injury to Sam Cosy is a big deal in the Washington offensive line because you have to block Jalen Carter somehow, and we talked about it earlier. You can do things formationally with tempo and play calls, but if you get behind the six at all, that all goes away and you become a one on one game, and that that feels hard to do. I do worry about the Eagles in prevent defense the last these games, they get up big and then they just go to prevent defense. I think there's a great opportunity to backdoor cover this game to win your wager. I just don't think Washington is like up really late and Eagles come back to win by three. I just don't see that that that type of game transpiring on Sunday afternoon.
Well, and to your point, like we were talking about the Eagles leg and teaser, you could probably even bring the commanders up to if you wanted to do it that way, if you do think that the back door could be open, or if you want to live bet this game and see if you can get Washington at a plus ten plus ten and a half or something like that along the way. What about in the AFC Championship bhil chiefs thoughts and like, how's it being bet?
Here?
Is it pretty? Fifty to fifteen?
Fifty to fifty?
The total ticked up a little bit. Weather looks really good, really good in Kansas City. They had horrific wind in that Texas that was really bad win there. You could see Fairburn kicking the one way, couldn't he couldn't even get the ball to the ten yard line on the kickoffs, although it was for me for Butker and I worry about is he one hundred percent he was kicking the ball into the end zone in that direction. I think this is a game I didn't bet the Bills Ravens where you just sit back and enjoy two great teams that should come down to a coin flip. In my heart, I'm not a fan of either team. I am rooting for Josh Allen to get a shot at a Super Bowl. I think he's done a lot. You go back to that thirteen seconds. It's interesting the NFL brings in Cleete Blakeman to do the game, whose home teams were five and eleven straight up in his in his sixteen regular season games this year and since twenty sixteen, home teams are only forty six percent against the spread.
How much doc do you put into officials in those Not as much.
In the fact that it's split cruise just like a national champ.
It's three guys from one to two from another, so it's not the same crew tendencies.
But you saw in the last game.
It's the head referee that throws both the roughing the passer penalties, right, So you know.
So we're ringing the game the other direction anti Chiefs rigging. Now we're ringing it for the bill. I just want to know what which who's ringing it for who? I want the Internet to tell me who's game, know how to bet on it properly.
I do think of any league, Goodell and the NFL are most sensitive to the public sentiment about officiating.
I think that's Aboutelyman got the game right.
Well, even the stuff like all of the way that everything's gotten blown up with Patrick Mahomes this past week. I wonder if that actually plays into Buffalo's favor that it's been out.
There, they might not get any calls the Chiefs.
Awesome spot. Thank you.
You're watching Money Moves Care on v Sends the Sports Vetting Network.
We're rapping up this Football Friday.
Edition of Money Moves on VS and the Sports Betting Network alongside former NFL offensive lineman Jeff Schwartz, Stormy bonding Tony with you. We're going to dole out our best bets here in a moment which I was just impressed Jeff in the rundown today, it didn't say all the bets, although there are a lot of them.
It's you know you left it without I did.
Yeah, I did not put all the bets. I mean I have a lot for two games, I at least my personally, but I'm hating my note card here with my notes, I am ready to go for you have a lot of best bets too. I mean I believe some horse some horse racing here.
Yes, because I'm involved in the Pegasus playoff pick Them challenge, We'll get into my selections for that in a moment.
I did want to say that.
Especially yesterday, I was so excited, like I've had so many bad beats in hockey so far this season. It has just not been going my way. And I even joked on the show yesterday while my hockey picks have been bad, I really have been doing well.
On the Golden Knights.
That's like my only saviors that they are the hometown team that I used to work for, and I feel like I know them very very well.
Well. Yesterday we finally.
Got the lucky win, Jeff, because it took an empty netter from Tomash Hurdle with twenty seven seconds left in the game for us to cash both are over and the two leg anytime point parlay. But it all came through on that sweet little morsel of heaven with twenty seven seconds to go, So we got luck back on our side and hopefully we can push that into positivity in the future.
But you said it, We've got best bets for today.

Hit me with your note card, Jeff Schwartz here tonight, or I guess here's a question.
Here's a question I have for you though. Okay, so obviously do other things and give out wagers on my podcast and whatnot. If a number moves like a yard is different. What wager do you want me to give out? The one I give out on Wednesday in my podcast or the number now, because obviously is a little different. And I'm okay with either direction because I'm doing the show now and if the number is what it is now, that's what I'm gonna give out.
But here's what I say, Jeff, I don't know.
Yes, you give out the bet, you say, verbalize the bet that you made, and then whether or not at the current number you would still bet it fair?
Okay, sounds good, that's totally fair. Okay, Well it went back down, luckily so Josh Allen over forty and a half rushing yards. It was forty nine and a half. Now back to forty eight and a half, which is the number I have my favorite wager of the weekend. Here's my little hating note card right here. Three playoff games against Kannadas City eighty eight yards rushing, sixty eight yards rushing, and seventy two yards rushing. And I don't like to make these wages just off trends. There's a reason for this, right. The Chiefs bring a lot of pressure and play man coverage when you play man coverage. Your back has turned to the quarterback and allows Josh Allen to run the football when the Chiefs defense does not get home un a pressure plus. In these high leverage games, the Bills run the ball a lot with Josh Allen. Quarterback runs are very successful. They're harder to defend, so I think Josh Allen gets over this number. We've also seen by the way quarterbacks rushed for more than their season average. Stroud last week forty two yards rushing to a last year had seventy four yards rushing the entire season. Okay, he had twenty five as the Chiefs in that playoff game in the cold Lamar fifty four last year. I mentioned Josh Allen. Even Brock Purdy had twelve yards rushing. Super Bowl going back Joe Burrow thirtyero. Like we know the Chiefs give a lot of rushing yards to quarterbacks. I like that. I like I mentioned Noah Gray earlier. That was fourteen and a half, it's now fifteen and a half. These numbers keep moving in the middle of shows. I would take either one of those. I think Noah Gray is a big part of what they do in this game. We talked about what is fifteen and a half right now, talked about what he can be with them, doubling Travis Kelce. I like Jane Damis over thirty two and a half past attempts. That was on track last week Stormy until they were up by three touchdowns. He had nineteen the first half. We were right on track. I like that again, style of play, the way they have to pass the ball to game, the no huddle. I like game well over eight and a half yards rushing that hit last week Stormy on one rush. He had one rush for ten yards. I'm going back to the well there on the history or four rush in this game. I like Matt Mulano over five and a half tackles. That includes obviously half tackles and whatnot. He is a big part of what the Bills have to do in this game. Obviously health is concerned as we look forward, but I like you know him in this game to just pull you know, to just you know, patrol the middle of the field and have an opportunity I think to be a big part of this game. IM gonna pull up his numbers quickly. He had the Chiefs. Where is it at right? Not playing that game he had eleven tackles in twenty twenty two against Kansas City seven tackles combined in twenty twenty twenty one. He just has to play well for them on defense. So give me Matt Malono over five and a half tackles.
I love it.
See you actually should have written all the bets. That's what should have been in the rundown, because that is what he came with today.
Oh Chiefs money line Chee's money line, which I gave out Tuesday. There we go. Sorry, that's all of them.
Okay, that's one where we disagree, and I understand going on the money line.
I understand why so many people think that the Chiefs are just going to continue to roll.
I'm not so brash as taking the bills money line, but I am taking the.
Bills plus two.
There are twos out there, including here at Circa where I am broadcasting from. I just feel like this is the year that they get the monkey off of their back. Buffalo cements their spot in the Super Bowl, potentially wins it. I really like the way the Buffalo is playing right now. I like the way that Josh Allen is playing, and I think that this is the.
Year that it happens.
I'm also playing them in a teaser from the two up to eight and the Eagles to win. Jaden Daniels, however, I do think gets a little bit of action here in the touchdown pass especially I know how good the Eagle secondary is and Eagles defensively in general have been fantastic. I don't think Jade Daniels is going to go for five passing touchdowns again like he did in the last regular season meeting with Philadelphia. But two plus touchdowns you're getting plus one thirty or better.
I'm gonna take it.
He has had two plus touchdowns and seven of his last eight games. I think that he can do that again here in this spot in a must win game, although I don't think that they do ultimately win that game. We also, in addition to our best Bets presented by g Bank, I mentioned you chinned it off the top this Pegasus Pickham challenge that we have going on, and if you go to Vson dot com right now, there's a huge banner on the home page that gives you all the information how to sign up. But basically what's going to happen is you are making your picks, not only for Sunday's football games you have to make side and total selections, but also Saturday's Marquee horse races at Gulfstream Park. Everyone who plays receives as well for free vsin Super Bowl betting guide. Vson dot com slash Pegasus for all of that information once again, or like I mentioned, just Vison dot com on that homepage.
You have the link there.
Now, I'm not a horse racing expert by any means. We have Mike sawmich for that who by the way, I ran one of my picks by yesterday and he did not like it.
But it's okay.
I picked.
I did a blend of research on these races as well as throwing the research out the door in some cases because I thought the names were good or I really connected to And I will say, as somebody who goes to the racetrack at Delmar every single summer, it is a ritual that I do in my family, and I pick races like that all the time walk away profitable.
You never know what's gonna happen. So with the Fred W. Hooper Stakes, I'm taking.
The number six horse Instant Coffee to the surprise of No. One, based on the fact that I inject caffeine in my veins on this program on a daily basis.
In the William L.
McKnight Stay, I'm going with the number four horse, GoldenEye, best video game in the history of history, and the Pegasus World Cup Philly and Mayor Turf.
So this is the one I was doing some research on.
Specifically, I text Mike Sawmich I'm like, so, what are your thoughts on fluffy socks in the Philly and Mare Turf.
He says, no, don't do it. This horse hasn't won since twenty twenty two. So what did I say?
Oh, so they're due. This race is going to be wide open. Why not take a shot. And I'm taking a shot on fluffy socks. Inside Information Stakes, the eight horse Olivia Darling, the Pegasus World Cup Turf number six major Dude, and the race I did the most research on and will be betting on my own outside of this contest is white a Barrio, the number four horse. Let's get it going as far as the NFL games go Eagles minus six and the over Bill's plus two in the over I don't like specifically in the Bills Kansas City game. I think that this got bet down because people think that that weather is going to be a factor.
I don't know, looks like the weather's gonna be great. I feel like both these teams offensively will be fine. I don't know if it's just because Kansas City was slow offensively last week or what it was.
I think that the over is very much in play for both of these games, So that's how I'm rolling with it.
These games have tended to be over. Off the top of my head, the playoff games certainly have was thirty eight twenty four, forty two thirty six, and twenty seven twenty four I think was the game. Last year. The game of the season was thirty twenty one, I believe. So it's over a lot of overs.
And also, Jeff Steve MacKinnon if another plug for Vison dot COM's got this full article up of trends. This is just an interesting one to add to my thought here. Matchups pitting the one in two seed against each other in conference championship games have trended to the over in general thirteen to five and one to the over since two thousand and two seventy two percent. So okay, yeah, do with that information what you will. That is our plays for the weekend. Jeff fun show as.
Always, This is great, buddy.
Yeah, so a lot of fun. Hope we wagers and hope the Chiefs win. So we'll see it makes people weeks more fun if I go to New Orleans and the Chiefs in the superhow it'll.
Make it more fun for you?
Well, we can both win, like just win by one Chiefs win by one again in a Heartbreakalo, then we both can win.
Sign me up for that.
You're the best.
