Cashing Out | Hour 2 | February 1, 2025

Published Feb 2, 2025, 5:39 AM

In this hour of Cashing Out, Greg Peterson looks ahead to Super Bowl LIX by digging into the injury reports and early prop bets. Plus, former NFL head coach and current ESPN NFL analyst Herm Edwards joins the show to share his thoughts going into the final NFL game of the season.

This is cashing out on VS in the Sports Banning Network.

No.

Number two of cashing out right here on VSON the Sports bank Network. And how about if we start off this hour with a bang, because I'm someone that whenever I host this show, I want to be able to bring a lot of energy. I want to be able to just bring some fight in general. And who better to have on as a guest than Herm Edwards. He does amazing work over at ESPN. As we know, he's a former cornerback. He's a former coach both professionally and at the collegiate ranks as well. And Herm, it's great to have you board, my friend. Thank you so much, my pleasure.

I think if you're an Eagle fan obviously and a Kansas City fan, I can't wait till next week. I mean, we've seen this game before and obviously Kansas City wanted, but it was really a pretty good football game. And we think about it. I think the Eagles had with a ten point league one in the half. In the third quarter, Kansas City came back, march back, and you know it really it boiled down to what we see a lot out of Patrick Mahomes. I mean, with a minute fifty something seconds leftis thirty five thirty five, and he takes team down on the wing drive and it could kiel goal to win football game. So that's kind of what they do when you think about the Kansa Chiefs.

And I still remember in that game as well, in the final minutes. You may recall Patrick Mahomes was dealing with a little bit of an injury, had that big scramble late that allowed the Kansa Chiefs to be able to set up that game winning score as well. So I thought that that was so big as well. And how about if we do start right there, what sort of shall we say, if similarities do we have from the previous Super Bowl that these two teams played two years ago to now because the main quarterbacks are there. Obviously, you still have Travis Kelsey on one side, you still have both of the coaches, but at the same time, a lot of the shall we say, rotating casts is very different for both of these teams as well.

Well. Yeah, they messed around and the Giants allowed take one Barkley to catch a cab go down to Philadelphia. He's kind of running them right into the Super Bowl. I mean that's the big difference of the last time these two teams met, and they didn't see Saint Juan Brocoln he was able to do and obviously a j Brown, you know, a big time receiver as well. But you know, this is a pretty eavenly matched game when you think about both teams, and I think Kansas City early in the season, they don't get enough credit for how their defense is played. You know, they're a ninth ranked defense in the National Football League as well and only giving up about average of nineteen points. So they've done a nice job defensively. The offense is just kind of the offense. It just kind of finds Wade Mahomes to get certain people the ball. We know, in tough situation he gets to Kelsey as teams like. So this will be a good matchup, I think.

Yep, I absolutely think so as well. I think that we're in for two of the best teams that we had all season one in the NFL. For the Philadelphia Eagles, certainly that defense has been able to step up as well. And how big is it for the Philadelphia Eagles that they've done such a good job in the draft drafted, taking so many guys from from Georgia University to be able to come in and help out that defense, because we saw it the first time around with these two teams played it two seasons ago. Both teams were able to get past the thirty five point plateau, and this year I feel like it might be a little bit less, I should say, a little bit more muted in terms of the scoring.

Yeah, I kind of go along with you there. Because of the fact that the Philly comes in with the number one defense of the National Football League. They're only given up eighteen points. So both these defenses are stinging when it comes to points. Turnos would be the big deal when you think about Philly, they've done a fabulous jobs. You know, not only during the regular season they were plus eleven in the giveaway takeaways, but during the playoffs they got ten takeaways. That's big. When you start taking them all away and you shorten the field and steal possessions from the opponent, that's big. So that's what they've been able to do. And you mentioned the Georgia group and the Carters, the one, I mean, he's been a game wrecker here. In the last couple of weeks, he was able to do against the Rams and obviously against Washington. You know, along with with with with the defense taking the ball away against Washington four times, and a lot of them weren't the stuff. They were just fumbled. They just flat take the ball away. So that's a good thing when your defense is playing like that.

No doubt about it. As Herm Edwards, he is an ESPN NFL analyst, as we know, he was a tremendous cornerback in his day as well. He's showing to me right here on cashing out on vsa D Sports Banking Network and Herm, I do want to ask you about this as well, because you have the pleasure of being able to play in the Super Bowl yourself back in the day. And just how big is it that both of these teams have so much familiarity with what all goes into the Super Bowl? Whether would that be like take are requests, all the hoopla that goes into the media, what have you, Because I do think that sometimes when a team is making their first Super Bowl appearance, they're just a little bit shell shocked and they're a little bit taken aback by the moment. Whereas both of these teams they have that familiarity with being in the big spot.

Yeah, that's that's a great comment there in the fact that if you've been there, you understand, you know, what goes along with being there, and when you first go there, if you have an opportunity to do that, it's very difficult. You don't realize a lot of the energy you waste on just things, you know, And this is kind of ironic, I mean it is really ironic. Well, first Super Bowl of Philadelphias went to actually I played it and it was forty four years ago. It was in New Orleans. So now they're going back. It didn't turn out good for us. We lost to the Raiders, although we beat them that year and during the seas, but we lost in the Super Bowl fifteen. So now they get to go back to a place that they've actually lost the Super Bowl.

In and.

You know, in New Orleans, and maybe try to win one this time in that place.

Yep, no doubt about it. That is going to be so much fun to be able to take a look at as well as both of these teams have a little bit of familiarity with old New Orleans as well. So we'll see if both of these teams what they're going to be able to do out there. But I said, I do think that this is also going to be a very interesting Super Bowl just from a matchup perspective as well. And with regards to Kanca Chiefs. You take a look at the metrics, and I would say that the metrics would favor the Philadelphia Eagles, but the team that had the more wins during the regular season was the Kanca Chiefs. Just how do you take a look at the Chiefs team and the way that they just continue to crank out one score win after one score win. Because there are some people I say it's just a team that has a really good coach, a really good quarterback that know how to get the job done, and others like to call it a little bit of luck. And I just leaned through this to this being a coach and quarterback combination that just know how to pull out these games close in the final minutes.

Yeah, they're very composed. They're very composed, and they have a great culture. They have a great locker room. When you think about you know, most teams are we always say in football, you know, it's coach fed, but it's player led. And the great teams understand that these guys have a great, great locker room with some of the veterans they have in there, and their ability to understand when you go to the Chiefs, it's not about just winning games. It's about chasing super Bowls. And they're chasing three in a row. No one historically I've ever done that. So you thought we saw the end of this when when Captain America hung them up and left New England. But now all of a sudden, the Chiefs are chasing that thing. So it's you know, who would have thunk that. But but they are, obviously, and in the Eagles as well. I mean the Eagles. You know they they've played a couple of Super Bowls here in the last five years. That that says a lot about their organization as well. So, uh, these are two teams deserving of playing in this game. And you know they they're familiar with each other. They have great players on both sides of the ball, both these teams. They have good, good coaches and these Hall of Fame coaches, we know quarterbacks, Hall of Fame quarterback. So it's gonna be a lot of fun. I think this. I think turnovers always play a key in games like this, especially the start of the game. The start of a Super Bowl is a little bit different. There's a lot of anticipation than you've ever felt before going to a game, you know, because most games you're even said, we win this game, you won two in a row. If you win this game, we maybe can win you know, the division. If you win this game, Okay, we won the championship game. You win this game, you're a world champion. That's a little bit different when you walk in that locker room understanding name, when we play this game, we can be a world champion if we win it.

Yep. Absolutely, And it's always interesting when you see that first kickoff as well, all the flashballs that go off as well. It's always an iconic moment every single year at the Super Bowl as well. And Herm, I do want to ask you about this as well, because so much gets made out of the quarterback and coach combination out there in Kansas City, because out out about it, if they go for a three pet and if they do pull off the three pe, that is going to be one of the greatest feats that we've seen in sports history. But not a lot of people want to give a lot of credit to Nick Siriani, and I feel like, well, Nick Sirianni, maybe he doesn't come off as like the most charismatic guy in the world. And this record really speaks for itself. And just talk about what Nick Sirianni has been able to do with the Philadelphi Eagles. Because we give all the buffs of the Chiefs, we just look at Dick Sirianni. It's pretty much a guy that if you're in like a restaurant or something like that as a waiter that's trying not to spill the soup at this point.

Yeah, but I think at the end, I mean, you know, the thing that you've got to gain is respect to your locker rooms and players, and these players have bought into their coach there's no doubt about that. In the organization as as well. Now you know that Philly's a tough place. I mean, think about Philadelphia. Who else was the coach there? Andy Reid? Okay, so Andy Reid left too. So it's a tough place, but it's a great place too. With that being said, and I think that you know, coaches done a fabulous job. We just football team last last two or three seasons and to be able to go to, you know, the Super Bowls and like in the span what they've done. I'm not like to teach the Chiefs seem like, you know, it's it's a part of their bloodlines. We go every year. But for the Eagles to be able to accomplish that, look, I mean, this is what is this the team's for Super Bowl? I guess one to one, lost one or a sister third or fourth, I'm not quite for sure, but in historically so, I mean he's been in two already, so that says a lot about what he's done.

No question about it. I do think that Nick SARRIONI getting off to a really nice coaching start and now maybe I'll get a little bit more of the respect that I feel like he does deserve a little bit. And we've got about a minute left here herme. Is there a guy that right now we should be taking a look at and talking about a little bit more with regards their impact of the Super Bowl that maybe isn't getting talked about as much because we all know Patrick Mahomes, we all know Travis Kelcey. Is there a guy a little bit under the radar that you think could have a big impact on this game.

Well, I think Colostus. I mean, he's the guy that can you know, rush the quarterback, and that's going to be important. The first thing, obviously they got to be able to do is Frank will and Bolton. They got to be able to talk tackle Barkley. That's going to be critical those linebackers that they have to gets so he can rush the passer right, because that's going to be critical as well. But I just think overall, both these teams have some outstanding players and super Bowls. The super Bowls, you know, you never know, a guy just kind of all of a sudden pops up and he's maybe not the star everybody's talking about, but he has a big game. So that's what's so unique about these super.

Bowls that can sometimes you have a guy come from out of nowhere and make a helmet catch as well. You just never know what this game and her always do appreciate it, my friend, Thank you so much for joining me.

My pleasure.

Thank you not the first person to say George karlovkiss by the way, So we're going to need to put that in the memory bank and coming next how about if we do dive in on this big game just a little bit more right here on Cashing Out on Visa the Sports Bank Network.

Welcome back to catching out here on vis in the Sportsmening Network.

We're right here on Passion Out on the Sports Saying Network. That was such a tremendous chat with HERM Edwards really one of my favorite guys to be able to just watch in terms of just casually watching analysis when I'm not here on the network. He does such a good job breaking down the game. It just always brings so much energy. So that was a lot of fun. A big thanks to him for Jelemy. In the last segment, I do want to circle back to a little bit of something that we were talking about a bit earlier as well, because we're all talking about Patrick Holmes and Andy Reid and just how historic has been what they've been able to do, and rightfully so, like I mean, the guys are going for a three P, the first ever Super Bowl three P of all time. We've seen three peats before in the NFL. That's before the Super Bowl was in existence. You have the great matpackers like way back in the day, things of that nature. But that said, just talking about Nick Sirianni in the way that we take a look at one coach and we think that is such a big mismatch. If you gave any other coach this record, how would we be fearing them? Because if you look at just the raw numbers for Nick Sirianni, he's been in the regular season forty eight and twenty in his first four seasons with the Philadelphi Eagles, with a five and three record, with two Super Bowls in his first four seasons. You put that resume on, say, Matt Laflor, We're just gonna spitball a name there, Matt lafor since I brought up the Green Bay Packers a minute ago, we'd probably been considering Matt Lafoor a top five coach in the NFL. Let's say that one of these new hires Ben Johnson. Great example, if Ben Johnson and he goes to the Chicago Bears, if he gets to two Super Bowls, goes forty eight to twenty in the regular season, has first four seasons with the Chicago Bears, we are putting up more right there as a top five coach in the NFL. So I do think that that's interesting to note as well, now, albeit, this has been a front office of the Philadelphi Eagles that has absolutely stacked this team, and they deserve a lot of credit as well. But I mean, what organization is not a collective because in order to be able to win the NFL, you need some sort of quarterback play, you need some sort of a running back, you need the front office and not completely fumble things like we've seen with the oh I don't know Cleveland Browns who decided to trade for Deshaun Watson and they're still paying for that as of right now. So do you think that that's all very very critical? But you do take a look at this game right now, and with the Philadelphia Eagles, they remain steady as about a point point and a half underdog. This total has very interestingly not moved as much. And typically with regards to Super Bowl, you always hear the saying of if you like the unders, you want to bet them early, if you like the overs, you want to bet them late. In I do think that that could be the case here. A lot of places now have a forty nine with regards to the total. Right now, I'm still seeing a few straight forty eight and a halfs out there as well, and personally, this is a spot where I do like the over, and I already did go in on a forty eight and a half personally, because I just don't think that we're probably going to be seeing anything goes down below a forty eight and a half. I do think that we could see a little bit of movement just here and there, but that's that. This is a spot where I do think that with regards to the Chiefs and the Eagles. Because I posted this up with regards to our Super Bowl betting guide, I'll tell you right now I predicted a final score of twenty seven to twenty four with the Chiefs being able to get the job done. I'm willing to lay it here with the Chiefs just as long as you're able to get below three, which I don't think that this moves past three, like a half a line or half a point line. Movement in terms of Super Bowl is actually pretty massive, And something that you do want to know about just Super Bowl betting in general is that this is the one time of year where I feel like you can really toss sharp money to the side. With regards to the side in total, certainly with regards to a lot of these props. A little bit of an different story there, but there's going to be very sharp and knowledgeable people are going to be in on the can SAA Chiefs. They are going to be very sharp and knowledgeable people that are going to be on the Philadelphia Eagles. There are very sharp and knowledgeable people that will be both in on the over and the under as well. This is a case where I mean it's the sharpest line of the You've got as much data as humanly possible for an NFL game because both of these teams played in eighteen week regular season. Both of these teams I'll play multiple playoff games as well, so there's as much of a data set as you can find. And certainly there's gonna be big bets that are going to be had on both sides. There's going to be a whole bunch of six figure bets in on the Kansa Chiefs. There's going to be a whole bunch of six figure bets. They're going to be in on the Philadelphia Eagles as well. I mean, this is a game of the year where I do think that this is probably best practices as well, Like everyone always wants to bet the big game, and that is oh so important. Like, trust me, I'm going to be better in the big game as well. But this is not just because this is the last game of the year. I've said this a few times on the network and I'll say it again. Just because this is the last game of the year does not mean that this is the last game for your bankroll. This is not the game where you want to go hog wild and push all in with regards to your bank roll, because there's going to be another NFL season that's going to be had. There's going to be I mentioned this as well. From the time that the AFC and NFC title game wrapped up until the Super Bowl came off, you'll have had more than six hundred different college basketball games to be able to bet on. You've got a whole slate of NBA for the next two weeks. You've got yourself the whole NHL slate that's out there. Eck, if you want to get exotic and you want to go with like some soccer something like that, Like, there's a whole bunch of different offerings. So absolutely hone in on the bets that you've liked. With the Super Bowl and Hey, maybe you're having a good time with it. Maybe you go from one unit to unit to two units. If you feel good about something like that, Obviously you do that. But personally, like if I were to recommend something in terms of bigger games, and this is not just exclusive to the Super Bowl, like when it comes to the NCAA tournament and like the Final four or something like that, I would actually recommend going with regards to your bet amount rather than higher, because there's a reason why these books are allowing you to be able to place more money on your wagers now, rather than say in some sort of a self wan conference college basketball game or something like that. Women's are going to be vow there. Women's on the Super Bowl are always high, Women's on the World Series are always high. Limits on the NBA Finals, just insert your big event here, the limits are always going to be higher, and typically that is for a reason, So do always be mindful of that, and do be mindful of this as well. Here at Vson, you're able to say fifty nine dollars right now with regards to an annual pro subscription, and it is for Super Bowl fifty nine obviously, and you're able to get everything that we do just for just one hundred and eighty one dollars, and that includes everything that we do here with the daily best bets to help you cash to more tickets. That is the promo code of cash at VSA dot com slash subscribe that promo code it saves you have fifty nine dollars. But with regards to my pick that I did give in that Super Bowl betting gude as well, I just mentioned it, I did pick a final score of twenty seven to twenty four, So I'm in on this todle over as long as it does not take above of fifty one. I do like this total over. And then my Super Bowl MVP is Patrick Mahomes Like, it's just I know that it's sort of simple. I know that it's not necessarily something that is like, wow, really went out there on a limb, Greg, you picked Patrick Mahomes to win Super Bowl MVP. But and it's the old saying of what as well if you don't go broke taking a profit. And with regards to Super Bowl, there's gonna be a lot of people are going to be like, hey, you get plus money on this, you get plus money on that, You're able to get a big payout there. Yes, it's always nice to be able to chase those big payouts. It's only good to chase those big payouts if they actually cash sol Like, I mean, yeah, it's going to be nice to be able to have a little bit of a sweat and everything like that. But I'm personally of the mindset of you want to be able to win. And with regards to Patrick Malmes, yes he's a short shot to be able to win Super Bowl MVP. Obviously, the two quarterbacks are always going to be the short shots to be able to win the MVP with regards to the Super Bowl, but I do think that he just is going to be able to push his team over the top. And how many times don't we see it. It's a nip and tuck game, it's a one possession game. You get Patrick Mahomes the ball back with two minutes remaining, three minutes of remaining, that guy just gets the job done every single time. It's just absolutely ridiculous what we've see in there. And that is a big reason why I did take the hands say Chiefs for this game as well. I just trust in Patrick Palmes a little bit more. Now. There's a case to be made that Jalen Hurts perhaps out played Patrick Malmes last time these two teams match up, and I do think that there are some takeaways with regards to what we saw in the last super Bowl to this one as well. You'll notice what the guests I've had on here on the show tonight, I've asked a lot about that. Just what can you take from the first super Bowl that can be applied to now because obviously Sakwan Barkley is the biggest moving piece that he didn't have in the previous super Bowl that you're going to be having now. But I that said, with regards to Kansaity Chiefs, you do have a few new wide receivers that are going to be out there for them as well. They've picked up a few pieces along the way as well, and I think that those are going to be interesting guys. Which one is going to be able to step up? Because you've obviously got Travis Kelcey and there's going to be a lot of a tension for him, not just with the way that he has been a legendary in his career. But I said, obviously there's going to be the cutaways of Taylor Swift, which we all know are coming. I'm someone that I'm neither here nor there about them. I'm not going to spend any more time talking about that because this is a sports betting show. But that said, what are you going to be able to get out of some of these other guys? Like Hollywood Brown is a guy that really stands out to me. You've got a guy like a Xavier Worthy who's being able to step up this season as fall and that's sort of the guy that I'm starring for. The KNCA Chiefs said. If I'm looking at Profts, if I'm looking at it over, I feel like he could be that big play guy like Holly Wood Brown, I think is the biggest unknown. He could give you zero catches, one catch, or he could be able to go out there have himself a very big performance. Just because he's been injured throughout the entirety of the season. You just don't know what's going to be happening there. DeAndre Hopkins now finally being able to reach a Super Bowl, which wish he would have been able to do it earlier in his career because that guy, like four or five years ago one of the best wide receivers in the NFL obviously isn't quite at that level now. But the impact that he could be able to have on this game is very big as well. But the question becomes with the Philadelphi Eagles. Can they control things early as well, because you know exactly what they're going to be looking to do in this game. Be able to run the ball with sa Kwan Barkley, be able to control the game very early on, try to get the game in their hands as well. So I do think that that's a very interesting part of this. Personally, I'm still parsing through with regards to a lot of my prop bets. I'm probably not going to be taking any of these like super duper like plus fifteen to one prop bets or anything like that. But I do like Patrick Malmes to be able to win Super Bowl MVP. I picked a final score of a twenty seven to twenty four, So that puts me right now on the Chiefs minus one and a half, and that puts me on the over as well. Something else that we're on some college basketball recapping what we saw from Saturday and turn it forward to Sunday. Up next right here on Cashing Out on VISA the Sports Bank Network.

Welcome back to Catching Out here on vs in the Sports Bening Network.

We're back. You're on Cashing Out on VCENT these Sports Thaying Network, and now we are recapping what has been a tremendous day of college basketball on Saturday. Listening to the replay, you know just how wild it was. And as I'm doing this life, we still have games that are going down right now because you have a game out in the way, which that always makes a college basketball day fun. When you have the game on, why that means that you get well north of fourteen hours of live college basketball and there's just nothing else quite like it. But there's been nothing else quite like what we've seen in college basketball, and this one did go final with Arkansas going on the road, the coach cal revenge game. It does go the way of Arkansas and they were able to get the job done actually by double figures in this game as well. They made a big giant statement in this one eighty nine seventy nine the finals. So if he had the over, this was able to cash very very easily. Now we'll say this Arkansas might not shoot this way moving forward. They went thirteen of twenty five from three, but it's not like you had a clunker of a performance from Kentucky. Kentucky went ten to twenty three from distance themselves. But for Arkansas, they find a way to persevere. They do find a way to be able to get the job done. Albeit it was a Kentucky team that was a little bit shorthanded. They were without la Monteler you miss another game, but they did get back Andrew Carr in this game. And it's really interesting to take a look at a team like Arkansas, because you take a look at Arkansas, it's been a lesson savory season for them, to say the least. This was Juster's second SEC win that said, you put Arkansas in literally any other conference in all of college basketball in the Big twelve, five would think that they would be a top half of the team in the Big twelve. Like I'm someone from the great state of Wisconsin, you put Arkansas in the Big Ten, I guarantee you they're in the top five of the Big Ten as of right now. They might not be on the level of, say of Michigan State. They might not be on the level of, say in Illinois, as actually did lose to Illinois a little bit earlier in the season, but they already knocked off Michigan on a neutral court. This is a team that had obviously there shall we say, fall offs with regards to SEC play, but id in a game against Baylor on a neutral court. They played that game to within five points as well. So and it's really interesting to take a look at this team right now. Now. Obviously this was from results that happened from a few months ago when I referenced those non conference results, but still, this is a Arkansas team that I think it just shows the real depth that you've got with reguards to the SEC. Right now, Like we used to talk about the Big twelve, in this regard as well, back when the Big twelve only had ten teams and just how night and night out you could not take a night off like you. Take a look at South Carolina right now in terms of the SEC. With regards to South Carolina, they're right now zero to nine in conference. It's been a less and savory run for them. You play South Carolina in the Big Ten, I think that they're probably in the top half of the Big Ten. And I'm sorry for those of you guys have loved the Big Ten, but I'm just saying them like it is right now, Like you take a look at this South Carolinian team. Here's right now what they have done thus far over their last few games. They lose at home to Texas A and I'm here on Saturday by kind of seventy six and seventy two. They had a five point overtime loss the Saturday before against Mississippi State, darn near knockoff Auburn. They were within two possessions of being able to win that game that was a home game, and then they had a game where they lost by one point to Florida. Now it shows that they're pretty much like your buddy at the bar and they kindot close up the SEC as of right now, but I mean they're playing super duper close games. They already knocked off Clemson earlier in the season. They knocked out Virginia Tech. I'll be at a down Virginia Tech team, but they knocked out Virginia Tech earlier in the season as well. So I do think that's just so interesting taking a look at the SEC right now. And that's really where college basketball conversations really need to start with regards to top teams in all of college basketball. Now, we do have a few other teams that bay rise up. Like I was in on Iowa State prior to today, the fact that they lose that Kansas State is interesting. Kansas State might now become the most befuddling team in all of college basketball. Like you take a look at this Kansas State team and all of a sudden, like their suck was as lo as Enron's like two weeks ago, and all of a sudden, it's going right back up, like I felt like going into these last two weeks, Like when you took a look at Jerome Tang and the fact that he was able to get Kansas State to that elite eight two years ago, I was wondering, man, it's his fool's gold? Was it just that Marquis no Wall? Was that awesome for that Kansasait team? And I still am having those questions. I'm going to call it what it is. But that said, with Kansas State, what they've been able to do here over the last three games. They knock off West Virginia, they knock off Oklahoma State, which I'm not going to make too much out of the Oklahoma State win. I'm sorry Oklahoma State. I'm sure that Steve What's is going to do a great job with that program. Right now it is not their time. But now they go on the road, they knock off iwa say by nineteen points, like this is not a squeaker of a sixty to fifty nine win where they needed, oh I don't know, a full court heave to be able to win it. That's what Arizona a few days ago. Right now they're sitting on top of the Big twelve as well. Nice win and cover for them on Saturday against Arizona State as well. So I mean that causes some intrigue, to say the least. But and with Kansas State, what do we make out of this team as well? Because they knock off Iowa State on the road. We saw them get dump trucked in the non conference against Saint John's, the Wichita State, and Drake. They also knocked off Cincinnati as well, So I mean, this is a team that is one of those head scratching teams as well. And there are just some of these teams in college basketball where they bring in a lot of transfers, and Kansas State is a prime example of this. They bring in a bunch of transfers in this nil era, things like that, they buy up Coleman Hawkins, they bry up Doug McDaniel, guys like this, and it really doesn't pan out towards beginning part of the season, but these teams catch a little bit of fire towards the back half of the season. It's a big reason why with regards to whether you're doing power rankings, whether you're looking at things casually in college basketball, you do have to be mindful of recent form and the way that some of these teams that have a bunch of transfers they might have a higher ceiling. Meanwhile, a team that might be bringing back darn near everything, and I'll get into this in a second. They might have a much higher floor, but a little bit of a lower ceiling as well. So that's something that you want to be taking a look at. And you want to be taking a look at this as well, because if you're looking to do a little bit of horse racing gambling, if you're looking to be able to play some bets on the ponies, you want to be going to First Bet from Santa Anita all the way up to the Gulf Stream Park to the Kentucky Derby and Freakness and so much more. First Bet, as you cover with a little bit of everything, sign up at first bet dot com. That is the number one st bet dot com, and when you utilize the promo code of vs in two hundred, you're able to claim at twenty percent rebate for your first sixty days up to two hundred dollars. That's first bet dot Com and then that promo code v si N two zero zero. But how about if we do reference that game as well as I was talking about it with regards to a team as Mayo Rise Up and a team that might be perhaps having a little bit of shall we say, a lower ceiling. How about what we saw in Michigan's versus USC, because the team that we always talk about yere in in euro Out with regards to hey, how are these transfers going to be able to meld together, How are these transfers going to be able to mesh what have you? It's always Eric Musselman's coach teams. Last year was over at Arkansas. Ironically enough, this year's over at USC get the job done once again. Seventy to sixty four to the final in USC has actually been quite a good OVER team as far this season. This was a game that fell under the total. But you do have to have those questions with regards to some of these teams because Michigan State is one of those teams that they took very much a run it back approach. They did bring in a few transfers. They brought in Frankie Fiddler who was over at OMA a season ago. And I do like the big man in Simon's a Pollack. He was a seven foot over at Longwood that I felt like deserved a little bit more love than what he deserved over there at Longwood. But that said, with this USC team just a completely brand spanking new team pretty much to nobody that Eric Musselman was coaching up the previous year. Nobody was left over from that USC team from the previous year, and it took them a little bit of time. Like with USC, they had a such a lesson savory performance on Thanksgiving Night against Saint Mary's where they scored thirty six points in this game. I remember being in the studio watching this being like, Wow, this is a horror show for all the wrong reasons right now with what we're seeing out of USC. They took that loss. Heck, they were pushed by UT Arlington earlier this season on their home floor, and UT Arlington has been a below average team out there in the whack this far this season, and now here they are, they were able to run off a few wins towards the back half of the non conference portion of the schedule. Like, not a lot of people are going to make a lot out of a twenty one point win against kel State Northurge. But if you're not paying attention to Big West college basketball right now, you need to be. There are some very good teams out there. Season is one of those teams long or not long beach shape I'm sorry Long Beach Shape, but not necessarily your year this year, as they did make the NCAA Tournament last year. But I should say UC Irvine and an old zot Zot for the and Eaters. You've seen UC San Diego. Those teams have been very good, but being able to pull off that win. They pulled off quite a few in a row, and then they had a little bit of a fall off. They had that trip over to Indiana that was less in tremendous, but maybe they able to pick it up ever since. That really does feel like a team has started to find their footing. These are the sorts of things that you want to be paying attention to, and I do think that there needs to be more stark movement with regards to some of these teams than perhaps have been had in the past, because there are just some teams that they gel and they just all of a sudden they find it towards the second half of the season, and you're going to find that so often. Now you find it a little bit more in the mid major ranks. And the reason why you do is because with regards to a team, as a mid major team that might be shall we say picking up a lot of team towards the second half of the season. There are a lot of teams that I'm just going to pick a conference here out during the Summit League. What is the last time you saw the Summit League be a two bid league into the NCAA Tournament. I can't remember the last time. It might have actually happened in like the nineteen eighties or something like that, and maybe I need to go in the way back machine for that, but I can't remember ever seeing the Sumveth League as being a two mid league. That means that you're taking the non conference as a little bit more of shall we say, learning grounds you're trying to discover. All right, these combinations work out there on the floor. These combinations don't work out there on the floor. Here's what we were able to get with the little amount of nil that we've got. What do we have in this guy? Apparently he plays really well with bigs. He doesn't necessarily do so well with regards to a small rotation. That's what these teams are trying to figure out. And now it's coming to light like oh mah, a team that I mentioned in the first hours being one of your best cover teams in all of college basketball. They were atrocious to begin this season, like they got a house by Abling Christian on their home floor, and all of a sudden they've been that top team out there, ironically enough in the Summit League as well. So certainly things that you do want to be mindful of. Something else that you want to be mindful of. You've got a game that tips off after four o'clock BM Eastern tomorrow in college basketball. Thank goodness, gracious, we'll break down some Sunday college basketball next right here on Cashing Out on Esports Bank Network.

Welcome back to.

Cashing Out here on VS in the sports Mani Network.

Back here on Cashing Out on vicent the Sports May Network. It's such a great time of year. We've got the Super Bowl that's coming up in a week. We now have NonStop college basketball as well as we are going to have more than three hundred games played between now and Super Bowl Sunday as well. So we've got a lot of action that is going to be on tap. And how about if we do try to make you guys a little bit of money, because it's nice to be able to react to everything that we're seeing College basketball and everything like that, but we want to be able to catch the bets. We want to be able to have some action on this Sunday because well Sundays aside from next Sunday, you're not gonna be having a whole lot of football very often up until August when you get preseason football going on and everything like that, so a lot of basketball. We're going to get baseball back in our lives, and I love baseball as well, so very much Johnson for that. We've had some nice hot so if here in the offseason as well, but we also have ourselves. A nice game that's going to be going down in the Big Ten, the Ohio State University. They hit the road, they're facing off becaust Illinois does a lead off your college basketball Sundays. Illinois is a six a half to a seven point favorite totals game and a between one fifty five and a half to a one fifty six. And tomaslova Vsitch is right now the big question mark with regards to this team. As with tomaslava Vsich, he's been missing the last few games for the team and I think that he's going to probably be missing for this game as well, I've been trying to try to find some reports to see if he's going to be back in slash Out as he's been dealing with a little bit of an illness, and even if he goes, he's probably not going to be quite one hundred percent for this team. But even with that, I was still willing to set Illinois an eight point favorite. I'm going to be willing to lay it in something else. I want to be taking a look at. It's just a home and roadspots that you've got with these two teams, and it's flaring for Ohio State. They're giving up norther and sixteen points more for when our possessions went away from home and rather than at home. And when it comes this Illinois team, that first game without a VISA share defense was pretty ghastly. They gave up ninety points in that game against Maryland. Ever since then, they've been able to do a little bit of a better job. I'll be able to react. They've been able to do a nice job. I'll be able to fill in the cracks without them. And this has been an Illinois team has been really good with their defense when they've been at home. As a matter of fact, in terms of college basketball, twelfth in the country in terms of points allowed. On a purposess basis, I think it's going to be interesting year as a tempo because you've got an Ohiosa team that they're looking to play a little bit faster. But this is not necessarily any sort of a warp speed team or anything like that. Dontinois has been looking to play at warp speed. They are number nine in all of college basketball in terms of total possessions brain Ohio State they're more hovering in that neighbor about one hundredth but we've noticed Ohio State playing a little bit more slowly here in the last few weeks as well. At for Ohio State, it's going to be all about can they get some clean looks for their main two guys. Sean Michael Bobley has been able to give you about twelve points for contes, shoots SARTs with forty percent three parts at Bruce Shorten. It's done a great job at the point. Kurt Spot he gives the team sifteen points. He's able to shoot another for forty percent from three prits, so has been rock solid there. But you don't have a ton down low, and it's going to be up to Morris Johnson if you don't have a vsage in this game, to be able to help Illinois be able to win that battle. Because Illinois has been a top fifteen team in all of college basketball. The guards, the rebound raid, and a lot of people while they look at a vsach as being that main guy down loan, you're also taking a look at what he's able to ride this team with The guards too are three point shooting boost as well. He shoots about thirty five percent from three, and this has been an Illinois team. It's been outside the top two hunner with reguards with a three point shooting percent. While their offense has been predicated around being able to get the ball down low and being able to get a lot of second and third chances by offensive rebounds. You're going to need Morris Johnson, who gives you about six half rebound spring, to be able to step up at I do think that he'd be able to win that battle against Deevin Royal if that's how it all shakes out. I've been liking what I've been seeing out of Kyle and Boswell. Now Boswell only shoots about twenty five percent from three point ine and conference Playbud has delivered for the team double figures. He's been able to do a nice job being a little bit of a cap list for the offenses. You've got Casparis Jakusnis who's been able to do a really good job of being that do it all sort of flamethrower guy. Fifteen points, five and a half wards, five and a half assist. And with that guy out there on the floor, I do think that Illinois finds a way to be able to get the job done. I do think that this is going to be a little bit of a lower scoring game. Like I said, with a visit, While he does a lot with regards to being able toit the glass for this Illinois team also does a lot for their three point shooting as well. That should taper off a little bit with him being out. So this is the spot where I set my line at an eight with Illinois. I'm on to lay the six a half and you're at a one fifty five and a half one to fifty six, I'm going to be willing to dive in on the total under as well. Here's a game where I do like the over, and I have a nice star on this one. If you're on Visa dot com right now, you're able to see my article that I posted up just before I got onto this fine show. Here. You've got sel Flora on the road against Flora Atlantic right now. Flora Atlantic has one for me a seven point favorite to an eight point favorite, which the oh if I agree with that, And the total ends game is one fifty two. And that's what I looked at with regards to the right up I did on Visa dot com. I'm in on the over in this spot, I told one fifty seven. There are three hundred and sixty four Division one teams in all of college basketball. Guess where Florida and LAK ranks with their three point shooting defense at home among those three ARON sixty four teams. If you guess three Aron sixty four, congratulations, You're going to get two more hours of myself as your prize after this, So congratulations. Yeay, verily there. But that said, for Florida Atlantic, ghastly with their three point shooting defense. They are outside the top one ninety in terms of points a lot on a purposession basis, and I guess it's running into the state of Florida right now, you don't have a lot of defense outside of the Florida Gators. Florida Gators have been very good defensively thus far this season, but outside the Florida Gators, not a lot of teams are playing defense right now. Miami has been absolutely awful. This self Florida team in a roadside shots court venue outside the top two twenty five in terms of points a lot on a purposess basis, Florida Atlantic not so great. Laura Nashill has actually been half leay decent, so we'll give them a little bit of a plug right there. But that said, for South Florida, do you think that they're going to be able to say in this game? I like what I've been seeing out of Jane Read. He splices the team with about twelve and a half points per contest, he shoots start near forty percent from three point and it's a self floid team that's relatively solid on the glass. You've had Brandon's droud to a solid job, be able to get the team right around about five rebounds per game. Now it's going to be matching up with the overall versatility of Bobba Miller. That's gonna be a little bit tough for South Florida because Boba Miller is saying six foot eleven gives you a block and a half. She's in the mid thirties from three point inch. Jamile Reynolds more of a stay at home, down low sort of big man that's say able to give you about a block and a half seven and a half rebounds, does contribute double figures. But I've been liking what I've been seeing out of the ancillary pieces. As Jimmy Williams has stepped up as a nice go to three point shooter, shooting about forty two and a half percent for three. He has really been the sixth man for the team thus far this season. Casan Jennings has been able to flow some good, clean offense for a sulth Florida team that they do a nice job saying control of things, say only turn the ball over about eleven a half times per contest. They are a relatively mid tempo team, a little bit above average with regards to her tempo. Meanwhile, this is the Florida and Lang team that's looking to run and gun. They are currently in the top forty five in terms of total possessions per game, and for Flora and Lantick, it's a whole is greater than the sum of its part sort of team because you don't have one single guy on this far al Lantic team that really gives you anything north of twelve and a half points per contest. You do have a pair of guys that'll be able to give you right around twelve to twelve and a half, and Caleb Glenn Alt Trey Carroll, but if you've got essentially eight different guys, they give you at least six point seven points per contest, even something like a Nicolo Mortelly who has been able to give you about seven and a half points per contest. Tai Kai Tande has come in after he was that top score over at Jacksonville State. I like what I've seen out of Ken Evans as well, So I mean, these guys have been able to do a nice job but be able to mix a match aside from the fact that they play absolutely no defense around the perimeter that should be able to keep Selth Flora lively in this game. So I did see my line more at a five, So I'm going to be willing to take eight here with Selth Florida and wrote this up over on Visa dot com. I'm going to be in on this subtle over as well. And something else that we're in on is bubble of training because in sports betting and in trading, probability is the key to successful if we have a high probability of being able to cash at last beat as well, and you're able to discover the high probability trading with Todd Bubba who he is a floor manager with over forty five years of experience as a trader and a sports better visit Bubba Trading dot com slash vson and get a free e book of options on trading and utilize the proble code of vs in five hundred. That'll save you five hundred dollars on any purchase. That's over at Bubbetrading dot com slash vsi N with that promo code being vs i N five zero zero. So you've got a lot of fun there and we've got a lot to take a look at here on the betting board for this college basketball Sunday, we've already hit upon two bigger games. How about we don't have any extra games, so we don't have any real world of the weird games Like I always love the Patriot leg I always love the NEC. I always get jones up for those conferences. I know that so many people they want to hear about, oh, the ACC games, the SEC games. Well give me some self lend in my life. But that said, we do have some Metro Atlantic games. They call it the MAX. Some people want to try to call it something else. I call it the MAAC personally. And this is one that I think is going to be an interesting one. Here is a game that I actually did. Right up, You've got Quinnipiac going on the road to face off against Sienna. I actually wrote this up when Sienna was a five point underdog. Now they're a six to six a half point dog. Total on this game is one forty two and a half. With this Quinnipiac team, the three point shooting just has not come around for this team. Like I'm not sure what happened here, but they really didn't lose a lot of guys from a season ago other than Matt Blanich, and they went from shooting about thirty five percent for three last season shooting less than twenty nine and a half percent. This season, they are in the bottom thirty in all of college basketball in turns three point shooting percente. I think that Heienna is going to be able to hold up in this game. Personally, I like Sienna right on the money line in the spot With Sienna, they've been able to do a nice job of mixing and matching down though they're a top one fifty team with you guards or defensive rebound rate, despite the fact that you don't really have anyone that gives you north of five rebounds per game, but you've had what Miles Lomouth who's been able to give you about a block and after contest he comes in from Butler. I've been liking what I've been seeing on the backcourt for the Seam as well as they've got a guy whose literal first name is Major. His last name is Freeman, great name right there. He's been able to do a great job long Justice Scholtz being able to give the Seam a commanding about twenty nine points per contest. Both of these guys do a nice job. But popping in from three, but it's really Brandon Coyle. Let's say, well, pop in and lock it from three. She's forty and a half percent for three twelve and a half points per contest. Kevin Dodi has been able to come on as a little bit of a nice guy down low for the Seam as well for Sienna. They've been able to do a good job. We'll be able to hold in a lot of these games. They do a nice job, but be able to slow things down. Do you feel like this is a little bit too much a monster to have a number and there's been a little bit too much respect to me to a Quinnipiac, So I'm gonna be willing to take a shot on the points. With regards to total, I set mine at a one forty five and a half as well right now, seeing what we've got, I'd be willing to take a shot on this total over as well. And coming up next about if we take a look at the Super Bowl right here on cashing out on Visa the Sports Bank Network
