Malea Powell on seasonal traditions and Crone & Crow

View descriptionShare

On this special episode of Voices of Taos, media specialist Lindsey Rae Gjording sits down for a conversation with Malea Powell, owner and operator of Crone & Crow, a metaphysical shop located in downtown Taos.

Malea talks about how and why she decided to open Crone & Crow — which she has call "a sanctuary space for those seeking spiritual connection, growth and community" — almost two years ago. She says she wanted a place for the many talented practitioners to be able to work, and that the name of the store came to her in a dream.

Lindsey and Malea also discuss different practices and seasonal traditions that happen at this time of year, particularly harvest celebrations and the honoring of ancestors, which occur in many cultures all over the world. To end the podcast, Malea does a tarot card reading for the Taos community for the upcoming quarter.
