In Part 1 of a double header convo, Kelly & Chip meet Clare Bowen and Brandon Robert Young, the couple who now forms the musical duo, Bowen Young. Clare talks about her journey of moving from Australia to Nashville to play the role of Scarlett O'Conner on the hit show, Nashville, after battling pediatric cancer for most of her childhood. Brandon describes his journey of moving to town with nothing but a dream and the daily grind and pursuit and wins and losses that all entails. Each story is different, but full of hope and many inspirations for overcoming fear (the VE topic of the month). They also talk about trying "not to fall in love," but eventually caving and Brandon tells the story of proposing to Clare at none other than the Grand Ole Opry.
