Mark speaks openly about his journey from being a mentally healthy member of Victoria Police, to attending a triggering incident in April 2003, which led to his progressive failure to recognise the signs and symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), his downfall into a darkness, a hospital admission and diagnoses of PTSD, depression and anxiety through to his recovery to who he is today. To help support his colleagues with this serious injury, he founded The Code 9 Foundation which is a registered charity supporting first responders including ESTA operators.
