My guest today is David Gillespie - a lawyer and the best-selling author of Sweet Poison, a book that is generally credited with starting the current wave of sugar awareness in Australia.
He followed Sweet Poison up with 8 more books – most of them about nutrition and diet, with another book on education and another one on surviving contact with psychopaths in the workplace and at home.
In today's podcast we focus mainly on the serious health effects of sugar, especially the fructose element (remember that table sugar is half glucose and half fructose) and seed oils (which are misrepresented as vegetable oils).
You can check out David's books and plethora of resources on his website - and I highly recommend that you do.
