Overcoming Bias & Adversity with K. Braeden Anderson

View descriptionShare

I loved this conversation.

K. Braeden Anderson has overcome a huge amount of adversity and racial bias in his life to become the first Division 1 college basketball player in the US to also be a law student.

Braeden is an author, attorney, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. Anderson wrote BLACK RESILIENCE The Blueprint for Black Triumph in the Face of Racism,” a groundbreaking book that provides a powerful strategy for Black success and empowerment in spite of bias.

To support the mission of #BlackResilience, Anderson founded the Black Resilience Foundation — a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the empowerment of Black communities and the proliferation of positive ideas about Blackness.

Anderson is now an attorney one of the largest global law firms, focusing primarily on the representation of financial institutions, investment advisers, public companies, and senior officers in connection with internal investigations.
