When you are stretched, you say it a hundred times a week without hearing it. I had to say yes. I had no choice. I have to do the pickup, the favour, the thing you dread. Most of the time it is not true. What you actually mean is the other option had a cost you did not want to pay.

This episode is about why "no choice" feels so comfortable, why it quietly hands the power to everyone else in your life, and what happens in your body the moment you swap the words to "I am choosing to."

No choice is comfortable. It is also a cage.

The heaviest part of most weeks is not the things you have to do. It is the things you are choosing to do while telling yourself you have to.
