സുന്ദർബൻ കാടുകളിൽ ഒരിക്കൽ ഒരു വേട്ടക്കാരൻ കയറിയത്രേ. സുന്ദർബനിലെ കടുവകളുടെയും വലിയ മൃഗങ്ങളുടെയും സത്വങ്ങളുടെയുമൊക്കെ അധിപനായ ദൈവം ദക്ഷിൺ റായി എന്നാണ് അറിയപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നത്. ഈ ദൈവത്തെ കാട്ടിൽ കയറുന്ന വേട്ടക്കാരും തേൻ ശേഖരിക്കുന്നവരുമൊക്കെ പ്രസാദിപ്പിക്കാറുണ്ട്. കാട്ടിൽ കയറിയ നായാട്ടുകാരൻ ഒരു ബംഗാൾ കടുവയെ കൊന്നു. ഇതിൽ ദക്ഷിൺ റായി കോപിഷ്ഠനായി. അദ്ദേഹം നായാട്ടുകാരനെ ശപിച്ചു. അങ്ങനെ ആ നായാട്ടുകാരന്റെ ആത്മാവ് ബേഘോ ഭൂത് ആയി മാറി. ഇവിടെ സംസാരിക്കുന്നത് പ്രിനു പ്രഭാകരൻ, Script: എസ്. അശ്വിൻ
