കാട് കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ടോ? നിറയെ നിറയെ മരങ്ങളും, പൂക്കളും പുഴുക്കളും, മീനുകളും കുഞ്ഞരുവികളും, പുല്ലും പുൽച്ചാടിയും, പിന്നെ പേര് പോലും അറിയാത്ത എത്രയോ ജീവികളും ഉള്ള കാട്? അങ്ങനെയൊരു കാട്ടിലെ കഥയാണ് ഇത്. അവിടെ പേടിക്കാരനായ ഒരു കുറുക്കൻ ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു. കുട്ടികുറുക്കൻ കളിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ, ഏയ് കുറുക്കാ എന്ന് ആരെങ്കിലും ഒന്ന് നീട്ടി വിളിച്ചാൽ മതി. കുട്ടികുറുക്കൻ ഞെട്ടി വിറയ്ക്കും. എന്നിട്ടോ? കഥ കേട്ടോളൂ. അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നത് ലക്ഷ്മി പാർവതി.
