Now it has emerged that many of the affected hold valid legal documentation, but are still facing severe safety threats, hunger and alleged brutality from both vigilante mobs and law enforcement. In a call for Pan-African solidarity, the organization is urgently requesting public assistance, through donations of material supplies like diapers and cooked food.
