The South African Weather Service (SAWS) says conditions will deteriorate from tomorrow, with snowfall forecast in parts of the Western and Northern Cape. Very cold weather and widespread rainfall are expected to affect several inland areas. Authorities have warned that mountain passes could become hazardous due to snow and reduced visibility. Strong winds are also expected to disrupt outdoor activities and travel. Residents are being urged to monitor weather updates and take the necessary precautions.
