The South African National Defence Force had to be deployed to KwaDabeka in Clermont, west of Durban, after overnight looting left businesses counting millions of rands in losses. At least two supermarkets and a dental practice were broken into, with cash safes, stock and equipment stolen. The incidents came after Tuesday's anti-undocumented immigrant protests.
