Professor Kareemah Najaar is the Acting-Head of the Wellness Sciences department, Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT).She is very proud to lead a STEM-driven community project (since 2018) that supports Life Science Matrics from disadvantaged backgrounds in preparation for their final exams, to attain the requirements to qualify for science programmes. Irma G, who stands in for Leigh-Anne Williams, chats to Kareemah about her incredible career and shares some words of encouragement to young women who would like to follow in her footsteps.
