A study from Canisius College revealed that women tend to sleep better with dogs beside them than with human partners. Surveying 962 women in the U.S., researchers found that 55% slept with at least one dog, 31% with a cat, and 57% with a human partner. Dogs were shown to disrupt sleep less and provide stronger feelings of comfort and security. Women with dogs also went to bed earlier and maintained more consistent sleep schedules, likely due to the routine that comes with pet care.
