GlenBridge Special School, formerly known as Glendale School,
was founded in 1975 and caters for learners aged 6 to 18 with
Profound Intellectual Disability, Severe Intellectual Disability
and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

The school focuses not only on education, but also on life skills,
independence, confidence and preparing learners for the
future. Senior learners take part in skills programmes and job-
shadowing opportunities with businesses including
McDonald's, Petworld and The Flower Farm.

Learners also explore their creativity through activities such as
dance and recently performed “Different Not Less” at the

GlenBridge;s message is simple: every learner has abilities,
