   I’m Bill Zortman and WELCOME to OUR It’s YOUR Agri Business Show---a show we added for It’s YOUR Business----when I approached the bean counters---and shared Agriculture is the #1 industry in South Dakota and it should have it’s own show. It happened—I was convincing ENOUGH---and from that day on we did the Business Show 9-10----and the Agri-Business Show 10-11.

  Since that time---Farmers Union and Farm Bureau work with us to do a show once a month to highlight all they are doing. In the midst of all that---the National Farmers Union in 2024---flew my wife and I to Phoenix Arizona---to present us their Milton Hakel Annual Award for EXCELLENCE in Agriculture. Yes I had to give an acceptance speech---and having grown up on a family farm in Iowa---this was a big deal in not only South Dakota and Iowa---but around the country.

  I’m told that that  National Award---has raised the importance of agriculture in every corner of this country.

  Here we use it to show---that we salute agriculture---and as broadcasters we should do all we can----to be a mouth-piece for helping farmers in any way we can----

  We start this morning with Darren Hefty---AG PHD---who is heard all over the map with his national show----he understands the value of saluting Agri business—whether it be our daily show or the farmers in every corner of this state or what he does nationwide ----
