Candyce Denise Raiford was born into foster care to a mother who was underage and unable to raise her. Despite the challenges, she discovered music as her escape and her voice. She went on to serve in the Marines, an experience that included being literally brought back to life after needing to be defibrillated.

And that’s just the beginning. Candyce’s journey is a testament to resilience, artistry, and the unshakable will to create.
