The Man Bun: How do I stand up to others, for others?

View descriptionShare

In today’s final Fade Out barbershop session, we’re tackling our biggest topic yet: How do you stand up for what you think is right?

It’s not an easy thing to do, so we’ve got Senior Constable Mike Bradbury and Community Constable Keiden Smith from SAPOL to talk about how they stand up for what’s right in the community.

Together, Cal, Mike, and Keiden talk about what you should be mindful of when standing up for others, how to de-escalate tense situations, and how to end every fight without throwing a single punch.

If you want to talk to someone about something we've covered in the Fade Out barbershop today, there's plenty of people out there ready to listen. You can call Lifeline on 1311 14 or dial 1800 RESPECT for an anonymous chat. You can also go to MensLine.org.au.

Fade Out is an initiative of the Riverland Domestic Violence Action Group. It’s supported by White Ribbon Australia and funded by the Department of Social Services. Google ‘White Ribbon Barbershop’ for more barbershop resources.
