The Mohawk: How can I be a role model for someone?

View descriptionShare

In the Fade Out barbershop today, we’re talking about the people we look up to and what makes them such great role models in our eyes.

We've got Riverland legend, Mick Beech, in the barber’s chair. He’s a father of four boys and one daughter, so he knows a thing or two about being someone people look up to.

Sit back and relax as Cal and Mick talk about their own heroes, finding your tribe and how to show someone you’re really listening.

If you want to talk to someone about something we've covered in the Fade Out barbershop today, there's plenty of people out there ready to listen. You can call Lifeline on 1311 14 or dial 1800 RESPECT for an anonymous chat. You can also go to MensLine.org.au.

Fade Out is an initiative of the Riverland Domestic Violence Action Group. It’s supported by White Ribbon Australia and funded by the Department of Social Services. Google ‘White Ribbon Barbershop’ for more barbershop resources.
