As South Africa wraps up the Commemoration of the International Month of the Girl Child 2024, an event has been held in Johannesburg to mark this occasion. The Development Bank of Southern Africa is among organizations that have partnered with the country's Department of Basic Education (DBE) in hosting a series of initiatives and workshops aimed at raising awareness of the unique challenges faced by young girls and empowering them through localised educational tools that promote a positive self-image.
