Get Involved with Me

There are a lot of ways to get involved with me - directly and indirectly.

Below are some of the ways:

Eighteen. Glen As are here walking back to the Building Better Humans Project podcast. Today, I want to talk about some of the ways that you can get involved with me directly, and mostly because I get a lot of messaging through social media, etc. And people are looking for anything from one on one mentoring to anything else. You know, how can we get started. So there's base levels. Level one obviously is listening to this podcast, and you're doing that, so you're getting regular content. You're not dealing with me directly, but nor do you need to be. Hope. I hope anyway, because there's a lot of good content in here that's just designed to lift you up, to make you feel something. We're looking to inspire you in some way, and it's just a little bit of positivity. As I say regularly on the show, there's a little corner of positivity or inspiration in the world that sometimes can be a bit of a dark and lonely place, and if you've ever been there, you feel drag more and more down down down that sort of road. So we're trying to change that now. Other levels are online programs. If you're going to work with me one on one, often I'll say, go and do the twelve week Design your Life program first. It's very comprehensive. There's so much information in there that, to be honest, it's probably worth ten times what we charge for it. But it's if you do the work, like anything, that's where all the value is. The value is not in the information and the content that I've put together and I've poured over that program, but it's not just in that. It's in are you actually doing the work? And if you're doing the work, what that will do for you be long before we do it one on one is it'll build a basis. And if we do it one on one without that, I'm probably going to ask you to do that work somewhere along the line anyway. Now, there's also the twenty eight day Habit build a program on there. If you want to start with something a little bit smaller, under one hundred dollars to do a twenty eight day program, that's going to help reinspire you a little bit. It's got some physical capacity in it, it's got the mindset pieces. It's about building habits and so just being consistent for twenty eight days that in and of itself will make a massive difference to how you operate in the way you do things now other levels social media. I've got the Instagram account which is just Glenasa, and I've got the Building Better Humans Project account. We've got a gym account which is Project one ADHQ, We've got the adventure account which is Adventure Professionals in the glenaesa and the Building Better Humans project. When we have a channel, and if you go into the channel, what that will have is every day providing within internet service. Every day, there'll be something in there that I think is useful, that is helpful, something that I'm thinking about, and I'll also regularly transfer that across to the Facebook group. There's a private group, the Building Better Humans Project group. I'm not selling anything in there, I'm not pushing anything. It's literally just content that I think is useful to you. And I understand that everyone operates differently, and there's been a real shift where a lot of older people, so my age, you know, forties, fifty sixties, tend to be more on Facebook these days used to be a young person's platform. A lot of younger people on your Instagrams and your tiktoks. So I'm putting stuff even into TikTok these days, which is one hundred percent not my platform, but you know, I'm putting videos and stuff in there, and I've got good friends of mine. I see their kids even starting to follow these programs, twelve to thirteen year olds, which I think is pretty cool when they're following some of your content and putting a little bit of positivity in there. I'll give you an example of just some of what I write inside that Instagram channel. So it's called a channel. If you look onto the Glenaeser page, you'll find that channel and I'll just share my daily thoughts of anything that I think can be useful. The one that I shared, I'll go back a few So last week I shared one I actually know it was earlier this week, and it just said, my intention is to leave this earth with nothing left to give. I want to make sure I've given all of myself to my goals, dreams and endeavors, all of myself and my friend's families and my partner, all of myself to the world in whatever way I can. We only get one shot at this, so I want to make it the best I can. I don't want to dwell in the past. I don't want to keep kicking my own ass about past mistakes. I want to learn, grow and move forward being the best version I can. So that was just a thought. I was having that more around the fact that I want to wring the juice out of this thing. I want to give it everything I've got. Why is that important to me? Well, it's what makes me get up, dress up, and show up no matter what's going on. I can have a bad day today and I'm going to get up tomorrow and try to have the same reinvigorated energy that I started today with. Now I can start the day with that energy and things can still go wrong. Well, the next time, I'm going to get up and do it again. The next time, I'm going to get up and do it again because my intention is to leave this earth with nothing left to give. So I can't just quit on the stuff that's important to me. That's the point behind that post. Let's go back another one. It says often when you get put in the most difficult situations, everything within you is going to tell you to stop stop chasing your dreams, stop looking for growth, stop aiming so high. But will you Some people thrive on adversity, and some people pack their bags. You get to decide which you will be. So again, that's just about this idea that we all go through adversity, we all get chat challenge, and it's all a part of the process. Often we get asked, what's one thing that you would tell the younger version of yourself? And for me now as I'm getting a little bit older, what I would tell myself is that adversity and challenge and failure, embrace it, maybe even look for it at some level. Push your limits to the point where you don't know if you're can achieve a thing, because within that challenge, within that failure, within that adversity, there is growth. And really that's what I'm saying here. You have two options when you get faced with that level of growth. You can fall apart, or you can pull it all together and become even better. So that's another example. I'll give you one more, just flicking through as we go. Some of them are not quite as insightful and some of them are, but just flicking, flicking, flicking, all right, This one here I like, which was a couple of saturdays ago. You can have the worst day of your life and a few weeks later some of the best days of your life. Just remember that next time you feel sorry, just remember that next time you feel life is getting on top of you. A lot can change and only a short period of time. So hang in there. What's that one about? When times are challenging, don't feel like this is the rest of your life. This is just a piece of your life. And we've all been there where we have challenging things, things go wrong, and we look at ourselves and we ask the question I know I have is this it like, do I have any capacity to get through? This? Is this where I fail at this thing, the marriage, the relationship, the job, the business, or whatever the case may be. And then a week or two later you're flying again and those days are gone. Nothing in life is forever, not the highs, not the lows, and our job is to just try and not overreact to either. Don't get on when I'm on a high, I think I'm just buzzing and nothing's ever going to change, because it will. But when you're on the lows, also, don't feel in the depths of despair thinking nothing will ever change, because it will and eventually you'll bounce back. So again, why do I share this today. There are a lot of different ways to get in touch with me and to work with me and to learn from my way of doing things. I'm not saying I'm the expert in any of this, but I've certainly got a pretty good life that I'm happy with the way. It's all sort of tracking. And the way that you can get involved is to pick up that energy even without us, or before we do a one on one, before we talk about before you join a group program. Maybe we never meet, maybe we never do an adventure together, maybe we never do a one on one, maybe we never do a group together, and I still want you to be better for the experience. That's what I'm aiming for at the end of the day. So I love you to get over to the Instagram channel. There's about four hundred and seventy five members in there at the moment. It's only something I started this year. It's a fairly new feature. And again the Building Bit of Humans project private group on Facebook, online programs twenty eight days or that. You just go to Building Better humansproject dot com dot au and you be able to access all of those things. There are a myriad of ways to get involved with me personally, and for me, it's this surrounding yourself with the best people you can I heard this analogy around the fact that when a plant doesn't grow in a garden, we don't blame the plant, So when things aren't working in your life, we're not blaming you. But what we do with a plant is we till the we pull up all the weeds. We make sure it's getting enough water and nutrients. We make sure we've planted in an area where it gets enough sun. If it's a plant that needs it, we change its environment. But with ourselves, we tend to beat ourselves up rather than changing our environment. Maybe we think we don't have the capacity to do or promise you do. You feel comfortable where you are. Sometimes we feel comfortable in really shitty situations, as crazy as that sounds. The comfort level is in familiarity. I know what's going on here, I know how to react when things go wrong. Maybe I expect things to go wrong. But over time, if you can deal with the initial discomfort of putting yourself into a new group of people, surrounding yourself with people that are uplifting and energized, in time, that will become your comfortable space that will become your norm. You'll have an expectation of being surrounded by people that lift you up and who you lift up as well. So that's some ways that you can get involved with me always always love to connect chat soon.
