Hey, team danas A here, welcome back to the Building Better Humans Project podcasts. I'm a little bit excited about today because I've got three questions for you that are very simple questions. But don't let that simplicity feel you because the answers to these questions are everything. And I get really excited about these because I ask myself these every now and then and it helps get me on track. So the three questions are what do you want? How badly do you want it? And how much are you willing to suffer for it? So let's break that down. What do you want? Not what your parents want, not what society says you should want, not what's convenient or impressive to talk about a dinner party. What do you want? This is about clarity, about owning the vision that's been tagging at your chest, because if you don't know what you're chasing, you'll spend your whole life running in circles. Don't confuse motion for progress, get clear, be bold, be specific, but most of all, be honest with yourself. Number two, how badly do you want it? This is a question that separates the dreamers from the doers because it's one of those things that wants something, but it's a whole other thing to burn for it, to want it enough to work when it's not fun, to keep showing up when no one's clapping, To sacrifice comfort, distractions, and ego because the dream means more. If you kind of want it, you'll kind to try and kind of effort gets kind of results. So check yourself, do you want the thing or just the idea of the thing. Then question three, once you've been through those two and you realize you do want it, how much are you willing to suffer for it? Now? This one, this is the truth teller because everything you want, everything worth having, comes with a cost. Discomfort, discipline, rejection, loneliness, uncertainty. That's the price of greatness. The people you admire, the ones crushing it, they don't avoid They chose it. They walked into it on purpose because what they wanted was worth more than staying safe. So ask yourself, what pain are you willing to endure? Because if you're not willing to suffer for it, you don't really want it. This episode isn't about motivation, it's about ownership. Because when you answer these three questions truthfully, you'll see where the gap really is. You don't need more time, you don't need more talent. You need more clarity, more fire, more willingness to lean into the hard stuff. So I want to ask you again, what do you want? How badly do you want it? And how much you want to suffer for it? Answer those and you know exactly what to do next.
