Geneva Baseball and Softball both had tough outings last night in the TAPPS Playoffs. A back-and-forth battle for baseball against Cypress Christian ended in Geneva losing 1-0. Softball against rival Holy Cross was hanging on until the Knights had some good innings offensively, and Geneva ended up losing 13-3… both playoff runs came to an end, but it was another historic end to a historic season for the Eagles.

Your Boerne Greyhounds will face Navasota in Del Valle outside of Austin which is where Telsa is setting up shop.  Game 1 is Thursday night at 7o’clock - a game we’ll carry right here on Boerne Radio.  Game 2 will be on Saturday at 1 and if they split game 3 will be right after.

Your Champion Chargers will play Game 1 against MacArthur at Champion on Thursday night  and Game 2 on Friday night at the North East Sports Park - we will carry that game live here on Boerne Radio 103.9FM.  And if they split, Game 3 will be on Saturday at 1pm…hopefully they sweep so we can carry the Greyhound game at 1…either way we’ll keep you posted.

Evan Kuhl of Champion baseball and football, signed to continue his career earlier this week. He will be a member of the Trinity University Tigers playing football in San Antonio. 

In a ranking of 13 NBA players up for the Defensive Player of the Year Award, Wemby placed second only behind Rudy Gobert of Minnesota who had 433 total first-place points. Wembanyama only received 245 of those points, but was the only runner-up to receive more than 100 points total.
