And The Nation and the World mourns the loss of the Queen of Country Music - Dolly Parton died yesterday at the age of 80.  At 6pm yesterday the American flag at the White House was lowered in her honor per President Trump and will remain at half staff for one week.  This radio station received dozens of calls and texts from great listeners like you with the news including Dennis Postiglione.

The Kendall County Commissioner’s Court voted unanimously 5-0 to not renew its agreement with Flock Safety Group yesterday, citing data collection and potential for misuse as reasoning. The decision means Kendall County will not enter into the proposed Flock agreement covering Oct. 1 through Sept. 30 of next year, and Flock will be responsible for removing its hardware from the county right away. The money originally budgeted for it could potentially remain available for another use, although it cannot simply be redirected to another law enforcement technology. 

The Burn Ban is back in effect for Kendall County. All outdoor burning, unless for grilling,  is prohibited until the Commissioner’s Court lifts it once again.

 A small group water main leak on Blanco Road required the closure of one eastbound lane at Oak Lane yesterday afternoon. Boerne Utilities Crews worked with the streets department to make repairs as quickly as possible, and had them completed by the end of day.
