After a full season at Porirua Park, the Wellington Lions will return to the 34,000 capacity Hnry Stadium for their home NPC rugby matches in 2026. 

Adam Cooper was joined by Wellington Rugby CEO Tony Giles to explain the move back to the region's largest stadium.

Tony Giles: Wellington Rugby CEO on the Lions returning to Hnry Stadium for the NPC season

Despite a midweek loss to Central Coast, the Wellington Phoenix women remain a mathematical chance of clinching the club's first Premier's Plate in the women's A-League. 

Currently second on the ladder, the club is guaranteed a maiden playoff appearance with two regular season matches remaining, starting with Sunday's match against Western Sydney at Porirua Park. 

To preview the match, Adam Cooper spoke with American defender Ellie Walker, who this week re-signed for another season at the Phoenix.
