A school principal based in South Africa's (SA) North West province has been awarded the presidential long service award and special recognition for his incredible leadership by the South African Principals Association.
The organisation which has a foot print in Africa and internationally aims to develop educators to perform better in their schools. Isaac Pila's award comes as several provinces are in the predicament of having to slash spending because the national government did not increase funding for provincial departments to cater for the 7-point-5 percent wage increase for public servants for the 2023/24 and 2024/25 financial years.
