The Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, has warned that the rapidly changing global geopolitical environment is creating serious challenges for Africa's peace, security and socio-economic development.
Youssouf was speaking during the 8th AU Mid-Year Coordination Meeting in El-Alamein, Egypt, held on Sunday, where African leaders discussed continental integration and the implementation of Agenda 2063. He called for deeper reflection and analysis to help the continent adapt and build resilience.
