Now, these cameras have been turned off, but the City of Ottawa hasn’t stopped keeping track of these lead-footed drivers. On average, drivers are going 7 to 13 kilometres faster than they were in 2025. Maybe we don’t get a full reinstatement, but should City Hall advocate for a photo radar renewal in school zones only? A ski resort in Jay, Vermont recently posted a message on Instagram, calling for Canadian tourists to come back. That’s because it relies heavily on its strong community of Canadian skiers, riders, and visitors – fewer of whom have been dropping by since the trade war began last year. We check in with Steve Wright, the President and General Manager of Jay Peak Resort, in Hour 1. Plus, a dedicated team of staff and volunteers at Petrie Island have spent the entire Summer gathering turtle eggs and keeping them safe in incubators. Now, those eggs are hatching, and the tiny turtle babies are ready for the Ottawa River.
