This week's PODCAST with Mario Corena & ''Vogliamoci Bene'', we welcome in Studio Sanremo special guest Louise Miller-Frost.

Louise is the Federal Member for Boothby, which covers the middle suburbs of southern Adelaide from Belair to Glenelg North and down to Marino Rocks. But she hasn't always been a politician.

While she is probably best known for running Catherine House women’s Homelessness Services and Vinnies SA, Louise’s career has also covered a range of areas including health and local government. 

She has also sat on a number of boards including Animal Welfare League, Winston Churchill Trust, the Medical Board of Australia and was co-chair of the Adelaide Zero Project to end rough sleeping. She describes the common threat in her career as being about delivering services for the community.

Louise has lived most of her life in Adelaide, having migrated here as a small child.  She lives in Cumberland Park with her husband Kim, one of her three triplets sons, and her dog, Tim.

In this PODCAST we ask Louise the following :

1. Your health career covered a number of different organisations and services. What drew you to the health sector?
   
   2. Was there a particular area of health that you found most interesting or rewarding?
   
   3. The health sector is under great pressure, what do you think can be done to address the challenges?
   
   4. A number of your roles have included working in homelessness. Can you tell us a bit about the services you ran and what they provided for clients?
   
   5. Adelaide Zero Project had a different approach to ending rough sleeping, can you tell us about that?
   
   6. you started at Vinnies in early 2020 just as the pandemic hit.  What was that like?  How did Vinnies manage services during lockdowns?

        7. You recently announced the great news with Ministers Butler and Picton at  the Repat re the new SEDS/Residential build. This is great news and do you have anything further to add?

        8. And how did you come to run for federal parliament? Is it what you expected? What are you most passionate about achieving?

Louise is a true community champion that has helped the grassroots people through health and non government organisations. Her passion has projected her into politics which means she can effectively use her lived experience through to Ministers and parliament.  Thank you for being you Louise!
