Water and Sanitation Minister, Pemmy Majodina says the country does not have a water crisis but rather encouraged residents to use the scarce resource sparingly. She has been speaking in parliament where the issue of water security is being debated. Majodina says municipalities need to strengthen their water control measures as the Gauteng province alone loses almost 45 percent of its clean and useable water to water leaks.
