According to Statistics South Africa  (STATS SA) there has been an increase of 294 000 in jobs for South Africans in Quater 3 of this year to 16.9 million of employed people. Water and Sanitation Minister, Pemmy Majodina says the country does not have a water crisis but rather encouraged residents to use the scarce resource sparingly. She has been speaking in parliament where the issue of water security is being debated. Majodina says municipalities need to strengthen their water control measures as the Gauteng province alone loses almost 45 percent of its clean and useable water to water leaks. Majodina adds that the country, as a whole is over consuming water...

The South African government has affirmed its call for an end to the genocidal war that is currently ongoing in Gaza in the Middle East. This position was emphaphised by International Relations and Cooperation Minister, Ronald Lamola who has been addressing the media on key issues pertaining to the implementation of the country's foreign policy. Lamola also touched on the country's position on the political unrest in neighbouring Mozambique and the ethnic conflict in Sudan. Lamola says the spreading of disinformation on South Africa's position and its case against Israel at the Internation Court of Justice is aimed at drawing attention away from the genocidal crimes currently ongoing in Gaza...
