Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and Environment, David Maynier, has expressed satisfaction with the progress made so far in the recovery of the infrastructure that was damaged by the floods in January. Several roads, bridges, and rest camps were seriously damaged. The total extent of the damage was estimated at 950 million Rand.
