Rassie Erasmus has made wholesale changes to the Springbok team for Saturday's Test against Australia in Perth. There are 13 changes to the starting XV that beat the All Blacks in Baltimore, with only Eben Etzebeth and Ethan Hooker keeping their places. Andre Esterhuizen will captain the Boks for the first time, becoming the 68th player to lead South Africa. And there's a milestone for Jasper Wiese, who earns his 50th Test cap, off the bench. Rassie Erasmus makes wholesale Springbok changes for Australia.

Former Justice Minister Jeff Radebe says he was never involved in, or made aware of, secret negotiations between the ANC and the apartheid government concerning post-TRC prosecutions. Testifying at the TRC cases inquiry, Radebe says he first became aware of talks between the ANC leadership and the apartheid regime while he was imprisoned on Robben Island. He says Nelson Mandela later briefed some ANC members at Victor Verster prison in 1989, but he was not part of those discussions.  The TRC cases inquiry continue its cross-examination of former Justice Minister Jeff Radebe.

Radebe Denies Knowledge Of Secret Prosecution Talks 

North West businessman and self-proclaimed political fixer Brown Mogotsi has been denied bail in his fourth application. The Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court found that the addresses presented by Mogotsi did not constitute new facts, as they had already been considered in his previous bail applications. He faces multiple charges including unlawful possession of a firearm. Presiding magistrate Annalise Tlhapi also found that Mogotsi remains a flight risk and that it would not be in the interest of justice to release him on bail. Sakina Kamwendo spoke to  SABC news Culvin Mabasa
