The Gauteng Division of the High Court, Pretoria, postponed the corruption case against Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula’s to 16 September 2026 for further trial. The matter was postponed in her absence as her attorney provided the court with a medical certificate citing ill-health. Mapisa-Nqakula is facing 12 counts of corruption and one count of money laundering, wherein she is accused of soliciting R4,5 million, with R2,1 million allegedly received as cash from a service provider.
