Dr Sajita Setia is a physician with more than 20 years of medical experience and a researcher specialising in 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴❟ 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻'𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵.

He is affiliated with Tel Aviv University and has held senior leadership positions at rehabilitation hospitals in Israel, where he has pioneered multidisciplinary approaches to sexual rehabilitation following injury, trauma and chronic illness.

Professor Heruti is also internationally recognised within the Paralympic Movement, serving as a medical classifier for Paralympic athletes and contributing extensively to disability sport worldwide.

His work promotes a holistic biopsychosocial approach to rehabilitation that integrates physical recovery, psychological wellbeing and healthy relationships.
