Today we're checking in with Jeff Ryan, Border Relay for Life Chairperson who shared how much work goes into planning the two massive days each and every year. On top of that we got into how he got involved, being part of a great fundraising family and what he's looking forward to this year at Birallee Park.

After so much planning, fundraising and incredible activity from an army of committee members and volunteers, Border Relay for Life is ready to go at Birralee Park Wodonga this weekend! This week Al checked in with both Jeff and Sten from the Relay Committee about what to expect from go time and how happy they were that the weather this weekend is set to be sensation!

Border Relay for Life 2026 - This weekend!

This week as Lu boarded a plane to Portugal, Al got into the line up of Red Hot Summer Tour 2027 and caught up with Jon Stevens about hitting Gateway Lakes once more. Maleah and Simone from the Albury Wodonga Theatre Company popped by the studio to talk about the huge production of Frozen the Broadway Musical (first show tonight at the Albury Entertainment Centre!) and with 8 days to go, Al touched base with Jeff Ryan from Border Relay for Life on how things were progressing.

Today we caught up with Grant who's a Cancer Council NSW Transport to Treatment Volunteer driver who's helped hundreds of people get where they needed to go as part of their cancer treatment journey. In this huge chat we found out how he came to become a driver and his readiness once again to walk the track of Border Relay for Life...for the full 24 hours!
