All Poetry: A Conversation with Welsh Poet Gwyneth Lewis

In this episode, host Clayton McKee speaks with English-language Maltese poet and translator Abigail Ardelle Zammit. We discuss her translation work on Gioele Galea's poems Ilma / Water. Our 2025 EUPL Mini-Series finishes this week with our final of three episodes. This interview is with Italian author Nicoletta Verna. In addition to Nicoletta and host Clayton McKee, you hear Debora Vitulano interpreting for us throughout the episode. Hear us discuss Verna's use of history to comment on the present. You can also listen to her reading an excerpt of the novel that won her the title of 2025 EUPL Laureate, I Giorni di Vetro, followed by a reading of the English translation by Catherine Gregor.
