Angelo Cataldi and Garry “G” Cobb join the Tim DeMoss Show today!
Cataldi, 94.1 (formerly 610) WIP morning host for 33 years, discusses his new book Loud: How a Shy Nerd Came to Philadelphia and Turned Up the Volume in the Most Passionate Sports City in America. We cover a lot of ground including his journalism background, start in sports talk radio, approach to his craft, and a few key names during his journey. Cataldi’s last WIP broadcast was February 17, 2023, the final segment of which can be found here: Angelo Cataldi's Final Segment (youtube.com).
Cobb, a former NFL linebacker (Eagles, Lions, Cowboys) and longtime Philadelphia broadcaster (including on WIP), also checks in regarding the current state of the Eagles, his work ministering to NFL players, the meaning of Christmas and his relentlessly energetic 2-year old grandson. Cobb is a frequent guest on the Tim DeMoss Show and is equally adept at conversation centered on football, family, and faith in the Lord—all in his straightforward, down-to-earth, humorous way.
We also get Cataldi & Cobb's take on each (there is much mutual respect between the two).
