Steve Taylor (music industry veteran & filmmaker) and Joel & Luke Smallbone (For King & Country, Drummer Boy)

Steve Taylor (musician, songwriter, producer, record label exec, filmmaker) checks in to discuss this coming Sunday November 1st's tour stop for his Steve Taylor & Some Band tour with The Choir in Manheim, PA, insight into two songs from his catalog, and life as a grandparent :).

Taylor, known for classics such as "Meltdown (At Madame Tussaud's)," "We Don't Need No Colour Code" and "This Disco (Used To Be A Cute Cathedral)," is also known for his work as part of Chagall Guevara, songwriting for Newsboys, industry work with Sixpence None The Richer ("Kiss Me," "There She Goes") and filmmaking including "Sketch" in 2025 starring Tony Hale. More information and tickets for this weekend's concert are available at www.stevetaylorpresents.com.

Luke & Joel Smallbone (of the pop/rock duo For King and Country) discuss their latest project, the film Drummer Boy. Set during the American Revolutionary War, the story follows two brothers-- Jeremiah (played by Joel) and younger brother Benjamin (Lucas) who end up on opposite sides of the conflict. Drummer Boy is a period piece along the lines of Pride & Prejudice or Hamilton and is a combination of spoken word and musical, tackling a range of themes from freedom (both earthly and spiritual), virtue, and forgiveness. Buy-one-get-one tickets are available for Opening Weekend (November 6-8) only at www.angel.com/drummer.
