INTRO: U.S. President Donald Trump says the "interim authorities in Venezuela" would be turning over between 30 and 50 million barrels of "high quality sanctioned oil" to the United States – in a move that has already irritated China. Posting on Truth Social, Trump said the oil would be sold at its market price in a deal estimated to be worth around two billion dollars. The deal with Caracas could divert supplies earmarked for China. Earlier the Washington Post reported that U.S. Government assessed that around 75 people died in Caracas during the U.S. military raid to capture deposed President Nicolas Maduro.
