Lawyers for Vusimuzi "Cat" Matlala's wife, Tsakani, and accused number five, Nthabiseng Nzama, want charges against them dropped. The pair, together with Vusimuzi Matlala and others, face various charges, including conspiring and attempting to murder socialite, Tebogo Thobejane, businessman Joe Sibanyoni and music producer, Seunkie "DJ Vettys" Mokubung.
