SEGMENT #1: ALZ Walk 2024 September 14th Exec Dir Taylor Adolphson

In this segment, Executive Director Rockford Taylor Adolphson outlines the who, what, where and when for the September 14th 2024 ALZ Walk to End Alzheimer's at Sportscore One. Goal is $95,000 after last year raising $80,000.00.  Rockford is one of 600 locations hosting a Walk to End ALZ in 2024.

SEGMENT #2: Greg Lindmark Foundation Counselor Mark Honzel

In this segment, Counselor Mark Honzel, a former 21 year Police Officer and current Greg Lindmark Foundation Resource Therapist, discusses the process of obtaining help through the Greg Lindmark Foundation for First Responders and why more information about mental health awareness is critical. 

In addition, the call to action for participating in the Hero Climb September 8th makes a difference. 

SEGMENT #3: Rockford Mayor Tom McNamara 
In this segment,  Rockford Mayor Tom McNamara recaps the REGROW Program where the City receives funding from the State of Illinois from legalized marijuana sales and the City repurposes the funding for social programs and initiatives. He also recaps the importance of the Hard Rock Casino opening next week, and touches on the Social District effort for open and carry in the River District and how checks in on the progress of it after 8 months.
