SEGMENT #1: Warrior Foundation Crucible Event August 30th and 31st 

In this episode, Tim, founder of Warrior Foundation is hosting a 30 Mile RUCK, 5K Run and Warrior Basic event to raise funds for K Cancer Kid Charity. The event will be held at Peak Sports Club and will be a challenging course. His family members are Firefighters and he praises the work being done with the Greg Lindmark Foundation in Rockford. He outlines why he is participating in Hero Climb 2024 on September 8th and encourages others to do the same.

The Blackhawk Area Council of Boy Scouts is celebrating their 25th Anniversary of Sporting Clays for Scouts September 6th and 7th at Camp Lowden in Oregon, Illinois. In the segment, we talk with organizers Jake Dykstra and Alice Roby, and outline the who, what, where and when of the event.

In this segment, Executive Director Rockford Taylor Adolphson outlines the who, what, where and when for the September 14th 2024 ALZ Walk to End Alzheimer's at Sportscore One. Goal is $95,000 after last year raising $80,000.00.  Rockford is one of 600 locations hosting a Walk to End ALZ in 2024.

In this segment, Counselor Mark Honzel, a former 21 year Police Officer and current Greg Lindmark Foundation Resource Therapist, discusses the process of obtaining help through the Greg Lindmark Foundation for First Responders and why more information about mental health awareness is critical. 

In addition, the call to action for participating in the Hero Climb September 8th makes a difference.
